GMParts 171-1040 Front Disc Brake Pad Set

Holds up to multiple track days. Is not rotor aggressive. Works on the street too when cold. Provides linearity and a stiff pedal from brush braking, left foot braking (pad is not bitey, not too aggressive) and clear feedback at threshold. I love the price. Cheaper than a lot of "race" pads that perform worse. GJ GM.

This is the stock brake pad for the following 6th Generation Camaros - Camaro SS with 6-Piston Option, Camaro SS 1LE, Camaro ZL1 and Camaro ZL1 1LE...all those variants use the same brake setup. The pads are fantastic on the street and on track for any track that doesn't require a high amount of braking. People don't realize that this pad is actually a high performance pad made originally by Ferodo. You shouldn't need to replace them with other street pads just dedicated track pads if you require them.

This product is fine. Amazon's packaging is horrible. The parts were not protected and cushioned adequately. The brake pad material was broken on the edges and the brakes are worthless.

Fit perfectly in a '17 Camaro SS 1LE, this is the best option in the market

Great OEM replacement brake pads for 6th gen Camaro SS1LE. Would be 5 stars but they arrived with the corners chipped off the pads. Amazon replaced them but one of the replacement pads was chipped as well. I went ahead and installed them. Great for dual track and street use. Consider buying them from another supplier with better quality control than Amazon.

I had to get a replacement because the first set was damaged but everything went fine and the second set was ok.

Two full track days with my 2013 ZL1 and these pads worked great. Perfectly balanced braking and never a hint of fade. Can’t imagine any aftermarket pads could have worked better.
