Well, having been following Neil Pasricha's awesome movement for some time now, you can imagine how excited I was when I heard that he had a third book coming out - The Book of (Holiday) AWESOME!Obviously, having got hooked on the feel-good nature of Neil's books in the past (and having set a dangerous precedent of using these books as my "go to gifts" for friends), I knew that I had to pre-order a bunch of copies as soon as it was released. Thanks to the wonders of Amazon's release date delivery, I had a chance to come home from work today to a box of Holiday Awesome - and I'm glad to report that, just like Santa Claus, this book totally delivers!The book is filled with the wonderful little moments in life that these books are so good at reminding us to celebrate and not take for granted. And they're made just that much sweeter by being focused on some of the most special times of the year. From the wonder you experienced as a childhood of staring into a fire on a cold winter's night, to fake wrapping a present to fool that special someone, to the memories that rush back when you unpack all of your favorite ornaments from years past. Flipping through the entries in this book is like a concentrated rush of holiday cheer, reminding you of all the special moments that this time of year brings with it (that have nothing to do with whether or not you've got a Wii under the christmas tree or not).Plus, the book isn't just relegated to the cold snowy months. While the first half of the book has the winter holidays as the focus, as the book progresses it has funny little nuggets about the other holidays of the year as well, extending the AWESOME across the calendar.You definitely won't go wrong in picking yourself up a copy of this book - leave it out on your coffee table (or behind your toilet!) when you're hosting your holiday parties this year. Your guests will surely flip through it and want to get a copy of your own. And be sure to pick up a few extra copies as well, for stocking stuffers or as a great little present to say thanks to that helpful coworker, funny teacher, or prompt postal service worker. If I could give this book 10 stars, I would. I think everyone should read the Awesome collection because it's good for the soul, and the Holiday Awesome book is wonderful, especially this time of year. The holidays are a time for cheer, but also difficult due to financial stress and wanting to celebrate the holidays with everyone you love. This book reminds us what the holidays are all about. I cannot wait to learn what the next book in the collection will be. Happy holidays!

I have the whole series. These books always give me a good feeling when I read them, whether it's the first time or just a random sampling from any section of the book! Great idea to cover the holidays, and can't wait to share it with my family this Christmas!

I love this Awesome series but this book wasn't my favorite, although I did enjoy reading through it. Covers all the holidays, not just Christmas.

I love this book, It was cool to see that other people enjoyed the same memories as me as a child. I have passed on several of these memories to my child as well. Great book, fun read!

I gave this as a gift after a colleague showed it to me- great for teachers, coaches, managers, etc. the book has little bite size portions of "uplifting" - I recommend it.

I bought this for my brother, who allowed me to read it. It had some good parts, but some were not that interesting.

There is nothing original in those books. Everybody can do it. I still don't know why I bought them. (Looking for something new and refreshing maybe)!

I love this book. The best part is it reminds you of the simple joys in life. Each story is 1 to 3 pages and you can just read a few at a time or a lot. This book is a new favourite and has been tucked away in my Christmas box to be brought out each year at holiday time to savour, laugh with and enjoy. I loved it so much I bought it for everyone I buy gifts for at Christmas. Buy this book, you won't be disappointed.

It's still awesome. Get the whole series.

If these is as good as the first one I'm sure it will be just as good with some funny stories.

I enjoyed the first book, liked the second. This one was meh. If you haven't read any of his books and love Christmas you might like this book; however otherwise avoid.
