Easy to use, the terminal block comes out for easy fixing, the glands tighten up fine, no complaints at all.The glands each side have a nut inside so very easy to replace/change. I prefer that to the ones moulded to the box, or to the ones screwing into a threaded hole, but you may need a spanner and something to hold the nut inside to tighten them up.I got this to replace an outside light which turned out to be a brass fitting with a plastic bottle jammed over the top. During the installation I got a sudden shower which turned into a 2 day Scottish thunderstorm so I nipped the lid up quickly with the cables just dangling down from the new light. After the storm cleared I had a dry day to fit it all up properly, and the box was still totally dry even with constant rain running down the cables. No complaints at allI assumed the best way to put the lid on was to fit all four screws until it was barely closed, then tighten them in an X pattern to try and ensure an even pressure on the seal. I suspect if someone tightened up one corner hard and then did the other 3 they may compromise the seal.

Got this delivered this afternoon had it installed in 15 minutes does what it is intended to do cant comment on the weather proofing but was easy to install plastic is hard so i wouldnt recommend over tightening it hand tight is good enough with the correctly fitted rubber gromet

Needed something to join two cables on a flat roof so had to be water proof. Boxes are sturdy, connectors sit nicely and the grommets so far have held tight. The screw driver that came with it is useless, short, uncomfortable but not an issue, decent electricians screwdriver does the job. The cable grommets are a little fiddly, you can end up with the bulging out of the inlet, be careful when you screw it all together, but other then that, a recommended product

Seems to be well made, supplied with good selection of grommets for a good weather seal. Screwdriver supplied is a bit useless & appears to be made of cheese as it chewed up easily when tightening the screws.

I used this to connect up a new LED strip light in my garage. It is well made, secure, and while I haven't had any water leakage into the garage it certainly looks like it is water proof.

I bought this to waterproof a BNC cable connection. I got mixed responses from my questions but when the product arrived the cable fitted. It was a minor fiddle to get the grommet over the cable end, the connector fitted nicely through the hole. I had to remove the pins molded in to the base of the box and the whole connector is a bit of a squeeze but it worked. Just what I needed

Done the job but swapped out the connector block for larger and better quality one.
