Clever tool!
This is excellent if you’re looking to add volume while blow drying your hair. I have fine, thin, curly hair and need volume at my crown. I can’t use brushes as they’ll ruin the curl. Using a diffuser and drying my hair upside down doesn’t give the volume at the crown that I want. This tool is great because it holds my hair up while I direct the warm air at my roots, giving amazing volume! The hair slides right off the prongs when I’m done and since I’m only grabbing the hair at the roots, I’m not ruining my curls. Now when I first received this I thought it seemed so cheap and gimmicky, but it’s really perfect. It’s plastic so very lightweight and it does exactly what I need it to do. I’ve done root clipping and all the other tricks but this delivers the volume better than anything else I’ve tried.

Interesting product
I ordered this wanting to love it but am still on the fence. It is lightweight, fairly easy to use and good value for the money. It may take more practice but I find often that it doesn’t hold in my hair - it slips out -when drying. I have fine curly hair but a lot of it which may be the problem. It does give lift at the roots which is what I wanted but it takes work for me to get it the way I want it. Will wait to see if it becomes part of my styling regime.

Works great on wavy curly hair super easy to use
I can’t speak on durability, I just used it today for the first time. Another reviewer was concerned that the plastic would get hot…it doesn’t with my diffuser. Actually it feels so much better than the metal clips I had been using for root lift. I have worked in a salon for years so maybe it just came to me quicker than others? But I was able to gentle grab coils by the root without disturbing the curl pattern which can lead to the frizz. I use gel and dried my hair almost completely dry in less than 10 minutes and the curls & lift look great. I haven’t broken the cast from the gel yet, I’m feeling confidant I nailed the look I wanted to achieve. As long as you are good with a dryer and brush you should be fine with this gadget. Super glad I didn’t buy the expensive model 😂 my hair is fine but medium thickness past my shoulder, long layers

This does the job of a $60 tool
I saw a curly hair ad on a social media site which sold a tool along this lines. I was shocked that they were asking $60 for it. So I investigated on Amazon and found this air volume tool for a tiny fraction of the cost. Does it feel a bit cheap in quality? Yes. It feels like it might be easy to break a prong. Do I care? Nope, not really because I could buy it another 10 times before I would pay what the other company charges. This product works fine to give a root lift with hair dryer.

Cheap quality, did not work, caused frizz
I saw this on social media and was excited to try it, but I’m bummed that it didn’t work. I tried the same methods as I saw in videos, but it didn’t create the curl shapes I thought it would so i could blow dry/set them (i have naturally wavy hair so it should hold a curl/wave), and the little “teeth” on each prong actually make an issue taking the hair out, so that the hair gets stuck/pulls and creates frizz. it’s also SUPER cheap & plasticky, and the prongs feel like they could snap off super easily. overall disappointed

Magic Tool!
Love this tool! It works great for root lift and curl. I have naturally curly/wavy hair and I use this for volume at the crown. You just take a small section slide the tool, curl and diffuse for a minute and slide the tool out. Great lift and volume. Very easy to use. I do think they need to have a video and better instructions for use though, because I get the feeling that other reviewers just didn't use it correctly?

It will get the job done. Durability yet to be determined.
It will do the job. I have curly hair that occasionally needs a bit of redirection. I had an American made version of this for many years that was much more sturdy and lost it somehow. I search all over for a replacement and settled on trying this. It is better that a 3 prong pick. Yet, it is a flimsy Chinese replica of the long lost American original.

COOL TOOL... GREAT for curly hair!
I saw a brush similar to this one being promoted for curly hair, to add volume at the roots when blow drying. That brush was OVER $50 dollars... WHAT?? NO... got on amazon and did a quick search. Found this brush, that does the same thing as the expensive brush for 1/5th the price. It's easy to use, and it really does work to give lift at the roots. Takes a little practice to figure out the best direction to roll for best results, but it's easy enough.
