Sports Action Camera, Waterproof, Full HD 1080P, Mini DV DVR w/ 1.5" High Definition Screen

I was very excited about this camera. I bought it specifically for a cruise in which I had many water activities planned. I even went so far as to buy all of the different mounts to use with it (chest mount, head mount, selfie stick, etc.). The camera was a blast to use on land, and I got some great footage from on the cruise ship, traveling to excursion destinations, etc. The video quality looked nice (based on the LCD screen), so I was really excited to take the camera into the water with me.Unfortunately, even after triple checking to ensure the port cover was latched properly (the LCD screen reminds you of this each time you power on the device), I didn't realize that there was a hairline crack present at the port cover hinge. As a result, my first dip into the ocean with the camera resulted in irreparable damage. The entire device flooded with water, and I lost all of my previously recorded memories. This was a brand new camera, and I had been babying it as if it were made of fine porcelain. There is literally no excuse for why there would be a crack there other than shoddy manufacturing.I used the camera as instructed, closed and latched the port covering as instructed; however, poor manufacturing resulted in a waterproof failure and overall horrible experience. The entire port cover broke off shortly after the incident, which demonstrates how cheap the material is.My suggestion to the manufacturer: If the correct closure of the port cover is the absolute most pivotal element for device function, then you should ensure that the port cover is of quality construction (not cheap, flimsy plastic), and you should inspect all devices for cracks before shipment.My suggestion to consumers: Either use this camera on land only, or spend money on a more well-known and trusted brand.I'm very, very disappointed with this purchase, and I personally would never buy from this company again.

Does everything it's supposed to. Easy setup & operation. Simple to transfer video to computer. Good quality video. Flat mount holds camera well on the dash of my Polaris rzr. Video is Clear & does not shake much at all, even when hitting rough terrain. 4 out of 5 stars because the battery drains very quickly in the cold

I wish I could leave LESS than one star!I bought this product to use on a recent trip to Cabo San Lucas as I planned on doing some snorkeling while there. the product arrived on time (BTW this ships WITHOUT a memory card so you will have to purchase one before you can use the product!!) after getting a memory card and powering up it seemed ok so I packed it for my trip and was excited to get to try it out.I got my snorkeling equipment on and ready and used the provided wrist lanyard for the camera to secure it around my wrist . i turned on the camera (which worked fine on land) on and... NOTHING.. blank white screen.. I immediately took off my flippers and walked up the shore to examine the camera. I opened the gasketed door which has the SD card slot, power and HDMI ports behind it and water immediately began to pour out! not just a few drops, I mean a steady stream for about two seconds (a lot of water for such a small camera) and the camera was submerged in VERY shallow water for less than a minute or so! So needless to say even though I saw TONS of beautiful fish, I was unable to capture any images of them due to this terrible product's shoddy construction. i should have known better after I was unable to find any REAL reviews online other than on Amazon. I honestly believe that a majority of the amazon reviews of this product are fake, I'm sure there are some legitimate reviews by people who received a product that actually worked but I personally will never by buying another item from this company. in my opinion spend the extra 25-50 bucks and get a better known brand (I believe Sony, Cannon, etc have comparable products out there)

Water leaked in the first time in the swimming pool. Also the video quality is subpar for its 1080p resolution. When I bought it, it had 50 reviews with all of them being 5.0. It must be a fake. Bad for the reputation of Amazon for allowing this product to be sold on Amazon.
