Pair Kicker 46CSC654 CSC65 6.5" 6-1/2" 600 Watt 4-Ohm Car Audio Coaxial Speakers

Purchased 2 pairs of these for my 1999 Honda CR-V. I picked these over another brand because the screw holes on these Kickers are the only ones I found that line up with the 3 screw layout on 90s Hondas. The install went smoothly with a nice fit, no cutting or trimming needed. They fit both the front door speakers and the rear trunk speakers. I was not able to install the metal mesh on top of the speaker as there were clearance issues, but I just installed without them as the speaker is covered by the door panel and the mesh don’t affect sound quality. I purchased the wiring harness adapter separately for a quick install- this kit includes the cables but you would have to splice into your wiring harness. The reviews are true; really great sound for the money. The speakers are clear, punchy, loud, and sound a whole lot better than the factory speakers. Would definitely recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade their car speakers.

Chose these based off feedback of other users saying these were about the best you can get for around 80 bucks and they were correct. These were installed in the rear of an extended cab truck where there were no original rear speakers an connected to a head unit that puts out 50w per channel. No amp or anything like that, an they replaced a similar set of 6.5 125w pioneer speakers. They are mounted to a plate and are not really considered " enclosed". These sound more substantial than the pioneers and I can crank them almost to max before becoming distorted. I'm guessing because of the open configuration, it takes away from providing a serious amount of bass, however there is plenty of bass and very clear sounding and more enjoyable than the almost 10 year older ones they replaced. Also the Kicker speaker is noticeably heavier, thicker, and has a bigger magnet. Very happy with this upgrade! So much I'm replacing the fronts with the exact same ones. The sound quality was very enjoyable prior, and was very much improved with this reasonably priced upgrade. If you have a decent head unit, these should work well. I did use sound mat material on the inside of the cab and body panels and not sure how this impacted the sound quality, but I jam out now! I enjoy all types of music and it all sounds good at higher levels than I could previously listen to them. Hard to go wrong with these if your connecting to a standard setup, especially for the price.

I was looking for the frequency response limits on this speaker, and could not find it until I bought it. It was on the box. Updated review coming after installation.Update after installation.WoW! I think these sound fantastic compared to the factory original speakers (2007 Honda Element Pioneers) More base, way more high end treble to make the music sound alive.I bought some easy installation cables. The Kicks are a little smaller that the originals, but I just used the original screws and screw holes in the door to pull the speakers tight to the doors on the perimeter of the speaker. They cover the hole tight and well, but the mounting plate was too small to use the speaker's mounting holes.One more thing....WoW!

These are a great starter upgrade for your car sound system. Crisp highs and mids but the bass is lacking a little. This didn’t matter for me personally, as an installed a subwoofer with them. Overall good quality for the price, but don’t expect the lows to be bone rattling

**UPDATE** I added two more of these into my back doors. These are Kicker speakers! 😉.I used these to replace the front door speakers in my '07 Silverado. I bought the weird adapter rings for the truck. I bought the adapter wires for easy assembly. Also I bought bolts and nylocs to hold the speakers into the adapter. The sound was quite the improvement and added value to my truck. If all goes well, in time, I will forget about the speakers and enjoys the music. Full stars. Very happy. I would recommend these speakers for the '07 Silverado.

Installed them in to the front doors of my g37 with some adapters . Best update for a stock stereo , clear sound even with only 2 front speakers .

High end car stereo speakers these are not, but for the price they are surprisingly good. I used these to replace the blown out speakers in a Jeep YJ overhead soundbar, and for that use that work really well. Sound is clear with decent response. Installation is straightforward, especially if you are replacing existing units. Speakers come with grills, wire leads w/ crimp connectors, and screws. UPDATE: After 8 months of use - half that time in Jeep with no top - these are still going strong. They still sound good, are clear at higher volumes and can obviously withstand sun, dust and vibration. Definitely recommend.

After looking on the net for speakers that fit the Element's doors, and after purchasing a pair of Pioneer's that said they fit - they do if you leave the grills off, I finally decided to give these a try. Have you looked at the many speakers that say they fit, but when you study the pictures, you still have doubts that they will??? OK, so let me say that these do with absolutely no problems. You will not be able to use the original screws or screw holes, but the housing is plenty thick to hold the new screws. Simply pop off the grill, remove the old speaker, hold the new speaker centered as much as possible in the housing hole, mark the hole, drill, mount these speakers, and pop the grill back on. You will have to cut the old speaker housing tabs that are plastic and part of the door housing - this takes 15 seconds or less with a razor knife. These speakers sound incredible, and they fit the back doors just as easy. I am not sure I would get the speaker wiring adapters, the ones that clip into the original speaker clips and then plug into aftermarket speakers. Also, be very careful when attaching the wires to the speakers and do not push the slip on connectors real hard onto the speaker tabs - they can break. Support the speaker tabs with your finger underneath when attaching the wiring. Total time to install 4 of these speakers - about an hour. Highly recommended.
