Nice light, but battery never even charged once
I was very happy with this light when I first received it. Very bright, adjustable, and I really wanted the ability to charge it with USB. However, about a week after I received it (after maybe using it 10 minutes total), it was dead already. I thought maybe I'd left it on, so I hooked it up to the provided USB. The button flashed 1/2 red, 1/2 green sporadically and constantly for the next few hours. After hours of charging, I turned it on and it still did not work. So I charged it again. Hours later, and it wouldn't work. However, it would work if I left it plugged up to the USB. So that indicated to me something was either wrong with the charging or the battery. I put in 3 AAA batteries of my own, and it worked again, but one of the main reasons I wanted this light was the massive battery it came with and the ability to recharge it. So while the light itself is fine, I'm disappointed the battery charging doesn't seem to work (or the battery is defective).Edit: Initially I gave the light a 3 star rating because the battery/charging seem defective. It went dead a few days after I received it, even though I'd barely used it. I put in a fresh set of rechargeable AAA batteries and went to use it a few days later and it was dead again. I don't know what's wrong with it, but it drains batteries even when it's not being used. I like the light, but obviously I can't put in new batteries every 3-4 days, so I'm changing the review to 2 stars.

Does not work as described in user manual USB Connector set too far from shell.
I just received the flashlight and installed the rechargeable battery. When I operate the light, the charge indicator shows Green, which is supposed to mean the battery has over 30 % charge. However, when I cycle through the light modes I get High, Medium and then rapid flashing between High and Off. There is no Low mode. The SOS mode does work if I hold the power switch down.I am now charging the flashlight and will see if a full charge fixes the problem, but even if it does, how do I know the flashing mode will not return when the battery drops to near 30% of full charge?Added 8/4/2019. My original review was based on the information given in the user manual, which states the flashlight has three light levels. However, I see that the Amazon website description says only two light levels, plus strobe and SOS. So, I should raise my rating a bit, but the flashlight still gets dinged for having a user manual that does not match the product,In addition, the USB connector is set so far below the shell of the flashlight that it is hard to reach with the UCB charger cable. See the photos. Finally, would prefer a slightly slower strobe frequency. On the plus side, this flashlight has a higher capacity battery than many other rechargeable LED flashlights.Overall, I will raise my rating from one to three stars, based mostly on the USB connector location.

S3000 USB charge 26650 larger Battery side switch flash light for my tool box and car.
Last weekend, a friend's car broken on high way, I brought my flash light (with red-blue SOS) to him, and gifted him.Searched on Amazon for one to replace in my tool box. Found this one S3000!Power lighting,Side switch,USB charging port (easy charge in car or office);Larger battery, no worry runs out battery in long project;Good size of handle for man;Bright SOS (might be some too bright when use it on road).Only one design not satisfy -- its plastic lens. I had one with glass lens, no concern lens over heating. Also, Ads says good for night riding, it should be removed because the package does not include a bike adapter to support this purpose.

Beat my Husky Home Depot flashlight
Love this flashlight. It's brighter than a Husky flashlight I bought from Home Depot that is twice the size and uses 2 D3 batteries. This flashlight uses a smaller battery than a D3 and it's brighter. Zoomable. USB rechargeable too. It also has the option to use 3 AAA batteries instead of the single larger battery that's included with it. Can't beat the price. I bought another flashlight from Amazon that was a bit bigger and more expensive. After I got this I sent the other one back, this was better.

severely under delivered
Go buy something else. Despite what others are saying the light output for this size is very disappointing. This thing is barely brighter than the 300 lm rated (don't kid yourself actual output is even less than they advertise for those super cheapies) flashlights i got for $2 so the actual output of this thing has gotta be sub 500lm.It's big and bulky (which if it was super bright is acceptable but not for what it actually does) and the interface is stupid. the little booklet even claims there is high/medium/low but it's actually medium/low/flash. Why is there even a flash when there is SOS on long press it's just a stupid annoying mode. it's also not on/off you have to cycle it to turn it off.Additionally there is no way the battery in this thing is legit. I'll get a measurement done but I would be astounded if it was over 2500mAh.I expected a very bright and long lasting flashlight, what i got instead was something barely brighter than a good small pocket light that is excessively big and bulky for the performance it gives
