This is the easiest and best way to make panang! It’s a family favorite now that we’ve found this brand and fine tuned our process after watching many YouTube videos and got the best measurements and additions to the recipe.The paste is the perfect flavor and spice level for everyone! When we aren’t serving company, we like to finely strip jalapeños along with carrots cut in the same matchstick fashion for a bit more heat! Delicious!

I have been using this product for a couple of years now and really like the brand. We love Thai food and especially Penang curry and this has been my go to for the past couple of years. Perfect amount of heat for the 3 of us and if I have anything left over from the small can (not often) I freeze it - I have never been disappointed with the quality after it’s been frozen. Great flavor!

I consider myself a connoisseur of Thai food. I've had the real thing in Thailand, and have eaten at many authentic Thai restaurants in Queens when I lived in NYC. That is where I first fell in love with Penang Curry. I order it whenever I see it on a menu. I cook a lot at home, and after doing a bit of research, I found this to be the most recommended and most authentic curry paste. It has a nice kick to it, I like spicy, so the heat level is just right for me. It's a great value for four cans, and occasionally I catch it on sale and stock up. I've seen some others mention that they received dented cans, but I must have been lucky because I've yet to receive any that were damaged. The flavor is great, and has the perfect blend of savory, salty, sweet, and spicy.

This product itself is amazing- 5 stars. 4 stars for damage. It's the best panang paste of them all. Just add your two cans of coconut milk, your Thai basil and add a tablespoon suger to taste. It tastes EXACTLY like what the fancy name brand Thai restaurants use. My son's said, " This is super bussin'! Better than our name brand restaurant down the road." But dang can they not package stuff so it doesnt get damaged in shipping or was it already damaged and sent like this? It had nothing padding it in shipping, so Im guessing shipping. I dont know but I have 2 iffy cans I have to throw out because I'm not sure how long they've been unsealed. Not worth getting sick over. Please package these better!!! They are worth the purchase. But I'm so dissapointed about throwing product out because of damage.

I like to have this on hand because I don’t normally have some of the ingredients that are in it, lemongrass, and Galangal. I use about half a can for a pot of chicken soup. I build the vegetable base, then I make a hole in the middle for the spices and add cumin seeds, cardamom, coriander, fenugreek… fresh ginger… mix it back into the vegetables. Sauté a few minutes. Make a new hole in the middle with some olive oil or ghee, wake up the Penang curry. Add the chicken already sautéed. Then add broth, blended fresh tomatoes, and/or a can of coconut milk. Add yams and carrot, then bring it up to a boil and turn it off to avoid over cooking. Add the remaining vegetables like broccoli cabbage cilantro. Finish off with two lemons. Open them up, put the juice in and deposit the rinds in the pot. Cosmic…. where you go after that is up to you.

Great paste ! Best over the counter pre made for sure but is expensive especially when you add near £13 on for import tax !!!!!!!!!! Cost me & £45 in the end !!!! £11 per small tin !

Wow, this stuff's amazing! This was the brand that was recommended in a Thai Panang Curry recipe I wanted to try, so I ordered the 4-pack of it from here on Amazon, and I will be ordering many, many more down the road for sure! If you're not quite sure what it tastes like yet, it's very much like the red curry paste in the supermarket, as the ingredients are quite close, but the difference is it has some spiciness with the added chili peppers. I'd say it's a medium heat.

This is the brand that my Thai friend uses in Thailand can't be beaten as a shop bought paste.

An enticing mix that when combined with coconut milk enhances the best of your choice to add.

This is the only one I buy, as it is nice and hot and true to a takeaway taste, rather than any supermarket one I have tried with no flavour and no heat. I recommend, as you can add as much or as little as you like to your taste, depending on the level of heat you want. Lasts well in the fridge and value for money compared with a jar sauce
