I like to wait about a year to review auto parts. 2009 Kia started leaking oil at a furious rate around this sensor. I ordered this one because it would ship quickly. It was incredibly easy to replace. The oil leak stopped and the sensor seems to work just fine for about a year now. Exactly the result I hoped for.

My 2000 Impreza Outback Sport was leaking oil from the old sending unit, and it had slowly covered the whole top of my engine with oil. This was a breeze to replace, works perfectly, and doesn't leak a drop of oil.

I installed this very easily. I was a bit disappointed that it did not use the standard sized wrench but it did go in easily and tightened sufficient with other wrenches. But the product is solid and the check engine light turned off. Happy at the product!

This is a low pressure switch for a warning light. It is not suitable for any pressure gauge. As tested, this switch grounds at 4 PSI, or less. The threads are 1/8" NPT, tapered pipe thread. The tip of the threads are about 3/8" outside diameter. Wrench size 27mm or 1 - 1/16". This as an inexpensive substitute for Briggs and Stratton 690233.

Great product

Worked very well for not being an OEM product will see how it last. For those swapping on an ej25 engine this oil pressure sensor fits below the alternator in the middle of the engine, not to be confused with the others oil sensors like the VVT that sits on top of each solenoid.

fit my 2007 Legacy (non-turbo) bit it did stick out a little more than stock. still cleared the alternator though. works just fine.
