Burris Optics Oracle Rangefinder Bow Sight, Built in Range Finder Measures Exact Distance, Calculates Perfect Aim/Drop Point, Adaptable Right or Left Handed Mount.

I have tried just about every brand sight made. First Single pin sights, then fixed 3-4-5 pin sights. Then last year I purchased a Garmin Zero AI. The Garmin was very hard to calibrate and if you had to make a change (like a heavier arrow or different draw weight the trouble started again) I just received the Burris Oracle last week and it was a breeze to calibrate and sight in. The sight is well made, micro adjustments are very accurate. The 20 yard pin is always there no matter what! Additionally by holding the button in for 3 seconds you can pull up seven or eight pins. Once I had the 20 yard pin set I backed up to 31 yards and set that distance. I then chose 60 yards as my maximum distance and sighted in that pin. Now all distances between 60 and 10 yards are spot on. Ironically, I’ve never felt comfortable shooting a deer more than 40 yards. Now my best shots are 40 yards and above. If I had a complaint, the sight is made of all aluminum and it’s heavy. I hope Burris will join the 21st century and perhaps build the body out of carbon fiber in the future.

The idea is great...Sight, range and release. Unfortunately it is not a finished product. The laser adjustment does not have increments meaning you loosen set screws allowing the laser to float making it very difficult to site then when tightening the set screws it will move regardless of the number of times you alternate between screws. It needs to click in increments like a rifle scope. (they make scopes how could they not know this)After adjusting the laser again and again I finally have it dead on. However. I have been shooting with it for over a month and find from time to time it will throw up a distance much longer than the actual distance. I know this because my range has markers every 10 yards. What happens when I am hunting and there are no markers?This is a very expensive site to not be able to trust in the field!UPDATE: I have in the past two months returned the site to Burris for repair. The laser would not lock into place. (They sent it to me telling me the elevation knob was loose???) I figured out if I adjusted the laser 6” left and 14” up, when I tightened the screws It would center. Works but not fixed. A week later the 40 yard led went out. Two weeks later I get it back with a new site led bar. They didn’t send the site in laser. So I had to use my old site on a hunting trip now 5 days before opening day archery can’t use it again!This is a very unreliable piece of equipment to take in the field!!!

So far this sight has been stellar, its sturdy construction can withstand a fair amount. The built in range finder has been spot on thus far. It is a tad heavy but at the same time you are combining a range finder with sight verse having the two separate, so the resulting added weight should be expected.

nice sight but the Garmin is much nicer

I have used this product all year now. To Utah on an elk hunt, whitetail Archery and many, many hours on the range. Very accurate and versatile sight. Truly takes away seconds and movement that are typically needed to use a rangefinder.

Range Finder takes a little time to dial in but really like this archery site. Put it on my daughter's bow. With slower bows it really helps the accuracy buy not having to shoot the gap. Pin set up easy. Daughter was shooting farther and more accurate in no time.
