I absolutely love the recipes that Todd Wilbur does. I find most of the recipes to be very good clones, with some to be either spot on or even better than the originals. Additionally, I love the fact that almost all of the recipes use ingredients that MOST everyday consumers would have in their homes, instead of rare & exotic ingredients that cost insane amounts of money & are only available for 2 weeks out of the year... In specific regional locations (Anyone who is more than a novice cook knows what I'm talking about here). I have since purchased at least 6 of Todd Wilbur's books & although a few of the books have duplicate recipes, I am very happy to keep experimenting with these wonderful & easy to follow recipes.

Everything from Coca Cola to a Mai Tai from shamrock shake to a margarita is covered. That's right all the chains most popular shakes, smoothies, sodas, and spirits are covered and can be made without the chemicals, preservatives ect. These recipes are easy and cheap to do and you will be surprised as just how simple allot of them are.

I picked this up with a few other newer soda books because I own a SodaStream and their natural syrups are overpriced. These recipes are mimicking the actual name-brand colas so it is not surprising that Corn Syrup and other "very bad for you ingredients" are included in the recipes. Not surprising, but a wee bit frightening. After all, I think we can all pretty much agree that the products the recipes are copying are not exactly healthy for us.The recipes are very simple, and I plan on substituting a few healthier ingredients where I can. I mainly purchased this because it was very cheap used and I am working on ideas for my own syrups.I recommend the Artisan Soda book as well.

I have four of these books in total all with different recipes. These book are a got to have series. You will not be disappointed in the awesome stuff you find in these books.

Nice variety of recipes. Fun and easy to follow. Basic ingredients for most recipes. Some nice change up recipes not found in other books

I have been trying out the receipts and so far they are good. There is a lot more here than I thought. It arrived on time and in good shape.

Top Secret Recipes, Sodas... Purchased this used, arrived on time, older book but in good condition. Love making the General Foods International Coffees. Very good copycat recipes. Looking forward to making the Liqueurs for the holidays.

Wir waren 2015 in Amerika und haben uns dort in die Minute Maid Lemonade verliebt. Da es diese leider in Deutschland nicht zu kaufen gibt habe ich das Internet verzweifelt nach dem Rezept durchsucht in bin in diesem grandiosen Buch fündig geworden!Es gibt Rezepte für alle Leckereien (mit viel viel Zucker!) die das Herz begehren kann unter anderem McDonalds McFlurry, 7up, Arizona Iced Tea with ginseng und so weiter!Die Rezepte sind gut erklärt und schmecken wirklich fast wie die Originale!Einziger Nachteil ist, dass alles auf englisch geschrieben ist und dass natürlich auch amerikanische Maßeinheiten benutzt werden und eben einige Zutaten in Deutschland nicht so einfach erhältlich sind. Aber das ist bei einem Buch aus Amerika mit amerikanischen Rezepten eigentlich klar.Von mir gibt es 5 Sterne für die "home made" Urlaubserinnerung!

The number of juliuses I made upon purchasing this book paid for the book several times over in the first two weeks. That's my favourite recipe and I've tried the variations as well as made my own. The Orange Julius today does not taste the way it did years ago and are a pale imitation with a very strong vitamin C added (versus extra orange juice) note. My craving for the "vintage" version was what made me buy this book. It's a good book.

What a great book. The recipes are stunning. My first one was the Bailey's Irish Cream , and everyone loved it. Can't wait to try all the others. Would have given it 5 stars if I could have afforded the Hard cover, but other than that I am well pleased.
