Price of set of paints

It will depend on where you can buy them. Probably about £50+.

Can liquid white be used with acrylic

Yes. It is used for the wet on wet technique.

Is this product to be used instead of prepping the canvas with Gesso or added after Gessoing as an add-on for better movement of paint?

This product is for prepping the canvas prior to using the wet on wet technique (or you could make your own)

I want to get this but wanted to know how much to apply and how long after applying can I paint?

You don't have to apply it too much or it takes ages to dry before you can paint. Cover the canvas with a coating then gently wipe with paper towel. It will be a day or two before you can paint aka Boss Ross.
