If you're not a SERIOUS (as in twice a week every week) rider, then these are perfect. Our daughter pretty much only rides in summer when we visit her grandparents, so spending close to $100 on a boot she'd wear for a couple of months just was NOT going to happen. She really loved these because they were zip up and helped her keep her heels down in the stirrups of her English saddle without needing a knee-high boot that would have been hot in summer. These cleaned up nicely with just a damp old rag and didn't have a deep/thick tread that held a lot of dirt and debris. Not having laces to get dirty was another big plus on these. They run pretty true to size, maybe a tad on the small size. So if your child is close to being at the end of a size, go ahead and order a size up. We did that and were just fine with a regular pair of socks (no need to double-up or anything).

Daughter says these are very comfortable however the size runs small. She wears a size 5 with some room to grow in most shoes but these boots were tight. Wish they sold a size 6 in kids. Had to order womens.

After wearing the boots three times the entire sole fell off - while riding a horse! She wasn’t doing anything crazy, wore them for lessons only and then took off. Incredibly disappointed and even more so that I reached out to the manufacturer for support through Amazon and they have not been responded.

The boots are durable and comfortable for my 11 yo daughter. It was a little stiff on the first wear but it was expected.

They where so comfortable said my daughter then I got a pair and she was right there are so warm.

Pretty good quality and comfortable! Only two issues where, slow shipping and some stitching already pulled on the side of the boot when first arrived in packaging.
