Excellent performance. We've used this device throughout Spain and Portugal for weeks now, charging a laptop, phone, and camera battery, and for operating U.S. equipment hour after hour. We've had no problems whatever. That's hard to beat.Note: This is not a voltage transformer. Printed instructions for this unit warn, "Be sure your electronic device is 220-240 volt ready. This information is located in the specifications section of your operating manual or on the manufacturer's label located on the bottom or back of your device as 'Input Voltage'. . . Multi-voltage devices with a 110/220 or 120/240 VAC voltage selector switch must be set to the 220-240 volt position." Devices made for the U.S. market that cannot handle the 220-240 volt European systems will be damaged.

Great product saved my laptop
I have purchased 5 of these within the las 10 years. Great item. One of them saved my laptop during a power surge on 220 volt. The tv and the fan burned up bec i didnt have them pluged into one of these, but my laptop was saved. And most importantly, the laptop was on my lap and the surge protector probably saved me from getting electrocuted too.

Gets the job done. Have not had any problems with it and I live in rural Vietnam where the voltage is all over the place.

good in theory
Product was not very useful for me because I bought it to use with my laptop. Unfortunately my laptop cannot convert voltage from 110 to 220 volts. Make sure you are using this product with an electronic device that can convert voltage from 110 to 220 volts.
