It is what it is.
Pretty simple device. Does what it's supposed to do. Fast shipping.Word to the wise: It's moulded in two pieces, a top and a bottom, and if you get a few picks in there the top can pop off. A bit of glue and problem solved.

Works great
Got it for my old guitar and it worked greatIt holds around 4 picks and if you add too many it falls apartPick quality is okay and thickness isn’t the best Very easyI got a new guitar for Christmas and was able to transfer it to the new one easily!

not for Ovation...
...at least, not in its current "state". I was unsure of the adhesive qualities against the back of an Ovation; it's not a smooth surface but rather has a "textured" feel and the pick holder won't stick to it. The workaround will be to afix a small piece of velcro to the pick holder and I haven't done that yet. Other than that, it does exactly what it is supposed to do, the picks are easy enough to get out if needed quickly. I'll try to get back to this review after modifications. : )

Not perfect, but on the plectrum
A discreet way to hide the fact you drop picks a lot (at least for me). Slapped one on the back of my headstock & even I have picks galore. Works as advertised and I would buy again

Make a better selection
Very poorly made. Top of pick case pops open when picks are inserted. In my view a complete waste of money. I have other pick holders similar that are superior to this version. I would not recommend this product.

Case pops open when you put in the supplied picks
I got two of these, I something similar on an instrument and I loved that there was always a pick nearby. This didn't come with any instructions - just the plastic holder and the pics - so I'm not sure if I used it perfectly as intended (maybe it was just supposed to hold 5 picks instead of all of them). When you put all the picks in, two things happen. The retaining spring pokes out of the back which affects mounting and 2) the top detatches and pops off spilling picks everywhere. It seems only to be pressure fit and this happened with both sets. I didn't glue it but instead held it very firmly while I inserted the picks. Then I mounted the pick holder on the edge of the neck of the instrument so the spring (which juts out 1/4") would not hit the surface of the neck or stop me from mounting it. It is now functional but the quality is not the best and I expect it will pop open at some point when I'm removing a pick. If there was a metal one of these or higher quality I'd be very interested because it is hard to beat the convenience.
