Coghlan's Pot Holder

I bought my first one of these delightful grabbers when I was a teenager and backpacking with my Girl Scout troop. Sometime after my husband and I were married, his brother borrowed it and we never saw it again..... until I found it on Amazon!These are great when you are removing something without a handle, or a handle that gets and stay hot, from a camping stove or campfire. The utensil will grab on the rim of the hot item and allow you to easily pick this up.I am slowing giving my adult children items to make a 72 hour emergency evacuation kit and was so excited to find these again. In the kits I had a small stove that uses compressed fuel with a large stainless steel mug that can be used to heat soup or water. This grabber makes it easier to remove the hot mug from the heat. My oldest child and her family camp and this will be useful on camping trips. My youngest child often does field work and will camp out when doing that or when travelling. Once again, this will be a great addition to the backpacking stove and cookset she already has.These will go in all of our stockings this Christmas.

Love this pot holder. Super cheap but durable. Clamps on solid. Buy one, better than burning your hands!!

A simple tool, that can sometimes become a must have. It's light, sturdy, and does the job. I've used this with an off-brand stainless steel camp cook set, where one of the pans are without a handle. This item worked perfectly for moving on and off the fire, as well as doubling as a handle. I don't tend to leave these connected while the pan is cooking, in order to keep them cool for use. I'm sure you could leave it on with no problem though.

Doesn't open and close very well, other than that it was exactly what I wanted.

I use this product on my favorite frying pan. The pan handle broke long ago and I had a similar product made out of plastic that I have used for the past 30 yrs. My plastic gripper tool broke recently and I was thrilled to find this replacement product. The fact that this product is made out of metal makes it even better.t

I have several different pans and camping cookware items that I travel with and this stupid clamp doesnt clamp. like no matter how hard you try, it literally doesn't clamp it just slides right off. The more pressure you put on it the faster it flies off. total waste of money. I would recommend getting one of the silicone lined ones, they actually hold on.

Es demasiado corta y cercana al fuego, además de que da una sensación como que filosa a la hora de tomar el mango, no es cómodo, ni se siente seguro.

It's a simple, inexpensive handle.I tried it on a small stainless steel pot, and on a stainless steel plate/saucer, and holds both well.this should get the job done. and not heavy.

I keep it next to our counter toaster oven don't need to look for oven mitts when removing a hot pizza plate or other metal dish so long as it has a small rim.
