Best Popsocket I’ve ever purchased
I’ve only ever used PopSocket on my phone cases, they are very functional and my absolute favorite accessory! However the last one I had was the kind where you can twist it off and use replacement tops. I never did replace it but it would often fall off, and eventually a little piece broke and it would barely stay on necessitatingme buying this new Popsocket. I have to say in the past the ones I’ve purchased all worked wonderfully but they weren’t the ones that could twist off. So I either recommend the basic ones that stay put or this MagSafe style! This is my first MagSafe one. It comes with a guide and instructions for installing. Make sure to clean your case really well (use a rubbing alcohol wipe) before you attach the magnet sticker so the adhesion is perfect. Once you attach the magnet sticker the Popsocket base clicks into place so easily and it’s very strong!! It’s hard to even remove the Popsocket to use the MagSafe it’s so strong but you’ll get the hang of it. Value for money is good. I would’ve liked even more color/design options since this one doesn’t match my case that well but it’s still pretty.

Very strong magnet
I was skeptical that the PopSocket MagSafe mount would stay put. I had an aluminum pop socket capable mount which I used for 3 years. While that one was nice to look at, the magnet wasn't very strong and would fall off if the phone fell off the bed. It would also sometimes come off in a coat pocket and was very annoying. The longer I had it, the weaker the magnet seemed to become. I couldn't really count on it stay in place when I needed it to.The PopSocket MagSafe mount has an extremely strong magnet. It takes quite some force to remove it. I'm really happy about that. It also has a relatively small footprint compared to the aluminum one I was using. It would be nice if this mount had charge thru capability, but I'm happy at least that it stays in place. Perhaps in the future there will be an option for this.I do have a couple of the vehicle PopSocket mounts, so I'll have to try those out again now that I have a phone mount that will stay put.

Solid MagSafe Phone Grip
This PopSockets Phone Grip for MagSafe is a great little upgrade. The design is simple and clean, and the magnetic attachment works really well with Qi2 compatible phones. It snaps on easily and stays secure, even when I’m moving around. No complaints about grip or stability here. The included MagSafe adapter ring is a nice touch if your phone isn’t MagSafe-ready. The PopSocket also doubles as a kickstand, which is handy for watching videos or propping my phone up during calls. You do have to pop it off to charge, but it’s easy. Overall, it’s a practical, no-fuss accessory that does what it’s supposed to. If you’re looking for a reliable phone grip that plays nice with MagSafe, this one’s a solid pick. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

Super Cute and Simple
Absolutely love the magsafe popsockets. It's very sturdy and works with my popsocket car holder perfectly. Application is super easy its magnetic as long as you have a magsafe chase. They also come with a magnet. No issues at all with it falling off and my 1 year old plays with it all day. I think this design is much slimmer and secure than the adhesive ones.

Version 2? Functional with Trade Off
This is a different version that the one I used to own. The pop out part is on the cap (push down and twist like medical pill bottle to release) and not at the base (pop out 4 holding grooves to release). This version technically has wireless charging compatible (more on this later). If you have a lot of the older version popsocket, know that the caps don’t work on the new version.Been using popsockets for at least half a decade now. Very functional with some minor inconveniences that I must work around, but overall worked well for me.What I love about is it that it provides better grip when holding the phone. Now if I use a phone without it in public, feels like anyone can snatch my phone off my hand at any second, or I’m afraid I may accidently slip off my hand and drop the floorCan get better reach with fingers while still providing grip on the phone if you carry a larger phone. Also great as tabletop/kicks stand when I need it. Tend to use it all the time when watching steaming videos while eating or on casual video calls. No need to bring additional stand accessoryThere are some official accessories for it that I use, but also made some DIY ones. For example, if you have magnet attachment phone mount, you can disassemble the popsocket and put the metal plate inside with tape, and make it attach to magnetic surfaces (This only works with older version and not this one)This version can wirelessly charge if you attach it on your phone directly with no case. But the charging speed is not as fast than without popsocketAdhesive works well on all phones case surfaces I currently own. Heard from a co-worker that it didn’t work for them when they used it on items with waterproof surfacesIf you have accessories that holds the popsocket in place; I wouldn’t use the popsocket on them for at least 24 hours so it doesn’t peel itself off due to gravity during initial adhesion period.Extremely strong. Unless you intentionally use excessive force, it won’t fall off. Peeling the popsocket off can leave stains depending how long you had it on. With some cleaning tools can scrap it off without leaving much residue. Use hand sanitzer to take off the residue, better than using soup or just water. To take it off once it’s stuck on you must use fingernails (will not work if you have long nails) or a thin flat head screw driver around the circumferenceThey are durable. Aside from paint wearing off overtime, the first one I own still works like it did day 1. I’m not rough with my popsocket or phones so may want to take that under consideration (?)-Cons of the popsocket can be worked around. It adds thickness. As thick or slightly thicker than your phone without a case, making it 2x thicker at one location. If you wear tight pants/jeans, there will get a budge, especially if you put it in your back pocket.Seeing the bulge is not uniform can wobble when typing on phone on a flat surface. If you stick the popsocket on the phone directly, may interfere with some of its functionality such as wireless charging (if you have the older version). That’s why I always opt to put it on a case.Never happened to me, but my co-worker said it get snatched onto things when trying to pull it out of her purse. Maybe she has way too many stuff in there, or the fact that I always carry my phone in my pocket or dedicated pocket in my backpack.Overall, despite the negatives I find it very useful for daily tasks.

Works like classic Pop-Socket but removable!
The magnet feature is awesome. Being able to switch my cases and own 1 Pop-Socket makes the price a little better. Works with the stick on Pop-Socket mount I had for the old style. The magnet holds very well. Does not slip or slide. It's also very comfortable to hold and the phone prop still works like the old one. If you ditched your old pop socket because it was semi permanent, well now you've got every reason to come back! Every classic feature is there, plus it has a comfy silicone texture, removable, and can fit in pocket or bag quick and easily.
