Amazon Basics 6-Piece Ultra-Soft Microfiber Bed-In-A-Bag Comforter Bedding Set - Twin/Twin XL, Blue Watercolor

I bought this bedding at full price, with my own money. I haven't received any type of compensation for this review; I'm just very happy with my purchase!I'm sleeping in the living room during construction, and wanted bedding that I wouldn't hate looking at ALL the time. I am thrilled with this set.I'm a total sheet snob. I normally have no interest in anything that isn't long-staple, puma cotton, sateen weave. I have read countless articles on cotton weaves and fiber types, dye processes, you name it.This set is microfiber, but it's actually pretty breathable and really soft. It doesn't stick to my pajamas like another microfiber sheet set I had. It's -14 degrees outside, but the comforter is nice and cozy with just the top sheet.The set includes a bed skirt, fitted sheet, top sheet, comforter, pillow case, a d pillow sham. The sheets, bed skirt, and pillowcase are all barely off-white, the comforter and shams are the blue paisley. The comforter reverses to solid blue.The pattern is pretty, and the colors are just a bit muted. The darkest blue is sort of denim color, and the paisley includes the off-white and a light aqua.The set come compressed to nearly shoebox size! The sheets and comforter fluff right up, the bed skirt could use an iron but it does a nice job of hiding all the stuff I shoved under there!I would highly recommend this bedding. I am very pleased with both appearance and comfort. I've been plenty warm every night but not too hot, and the top sheet and comforter are big enough that I'm totally covered with extra to spare. Excellent value!

Comfortable fabric with a beautiful design

Initially, I wanted a king duvet and cover but they can be pricey. Then I noticed the white with gray flower/vine patterns; it's pretty and can be accented with any color. I've seen very similar patterns at walmart and ikea, but too pricey or would not fit the duvet that I wanted to purchase. The walmart version is a quilt that I know would last me a long time, but I wanted fluffiness. I found this one for 20 dollars less and with more items (even though we're not using the sheets because my husband needs 100% cotton sheets) and decided to buy it. It does have some fluff to it. It's "decoration" for my bed, We cover the comforter with the quilt at night, and we remove the matching pillows when sleeping.I was going to use this with a white sheet set, but after seeing a review with a similar quilt set (but in pink) i decided to use mine too. So we're using white cotton sheet set minus the white pillow covers, the grey quilt shams to sleep on, and the grey quilt to protect the comforter.I will be replacing the pillow inserts, so these white/gray shams will look sooo much better.So my bed is a king with 3 euro pillows, 2 king pillows (in the quilt shams for sleeping), 2 king pillows in the shams (for decor), one throw pillow (matching the Euro pillows), White flat and fitted sheets for sleeping, and gray quilt to protect the comforter.Like I said, it's pretty and can be accented with other colors. I'm thinking royal purple next.

Nice set for the price. And I state “ for the price”! I wasn’t expecting much at this price piont. Wtbs, I seriously wanted to spruce up our bedroom. I’m mostly in bed due to a debilitating chronic health condition. I spend most days in bed. I was getting tired of the set I had on our queen size bed for 4 years!! Since my husband just bought us a beautiful new Luxury hybrid mattress I was even more eager for a change of scenery! First, let me say I ordered blue paisley and the color is wonderful! Very PRETTY! When ordering I was a bit concerned, the description says blue but it certainly looks very dark almost black in the picture. As for the sheets: I don’t like the sheet set at all. I think they could have gone the extra mile and made them at least blue, instead they are an ugly (imo) cream color almost white, as is the bed skirt. Now, that’s another reason why 4 stars instead of 5 . The bed skirt was a real hassle to put on. Most sets come now with the wrap around bedskirts. This one is a full bedskirt. I may change it! We had to lift the mattress completely off the bed to put on the bed skirt. Plus it doesn’t fit right. Too long! If you are elderly, it may be wise to have someone ( a family member) help you unless you have a real light mattress. My husband who is still very strong and healthy, cause he works everyday, had to do it himself because I have mobility issues! The bedskirt doesn’t fit my box springs correctly though my box springs are queen size. I ordered some bedskirt tacks today to fix it so it is not so long! If that doesn’t work. I will change to a different bedskirt . Now with all that I still give it a 4 star rating because the quilt is much nicer, actually very pretty, then I expected for the price. I’m not a big microfiber fan but I really couldn’t afford anything else because of my fixed income! So 4 stars it is for quality and looks although I have not washed it yet. So I can’t address durability! I’m still a bit undecided as to whether I would recommend the set. But I’m leaning towards saying yes I would taking in account the price.

I really love this comforter set; it has a nice simple design without being over the top. But what my husband and I love most about it is that it doesn't feel heavy or stiff like most comforter sets. We both like to be fairly comfortable when we sleep. Not too hot and not too cold and I believe this comforter is the perfect balance for us! It's soft but not like Egyptian cotton soft but definitely a quality better than Walmart at a Walmart type price for an 8 piece KING bed set. The only cons is the blue from the comforter on the flat sheen caused little fabric fuzzies. It's not stained but for lasting looks, I don't see it upholding well. Although it's under the comforter so it won't be seen.Overall great quality for the price we are looking at another set soon!
