Freeze Dried Premium Durian- 50G

Quality is good, and flavor is mildly garlicky-oniony-fruit, just right, an acquired taste that is milder than fresh. These packets are far less expensive than other brands, but still good, especially for the curious. My sense of taste and smell can blink on and off, but the durian doesn't seem to waft aromas into the cabinet, like some people complain. I wish we could eat this every day, it is so tasty and nutritious, and that this brand came in a powder. If durian in general was less expensive, and available on ebt, i would have given the Value feature 5 stars, too, but it is still a great luxury. Delicious. Update, Thanksgiving 2022 — wow, durian is amazing with a traditional Thanksgiving feast. It is delicious on its own, and it makes everything, turkey, rice, pumpkin, peas, carrots, spinach, broccoli, apples, pears, etc, taste even more round and savory. Goes great with ginger tea, coconut, honey, etc. Probably would make pineapple ham be the hit of the season. Highly recommend, hope the market expands, because we and others would enjoy it regularly.

Gross!!!! Tastes like garlic and leaves an awful garlicky aftertaste!!!! Smells bad as well, of course. I threw it all away immediately... Don’t buy this thing!!!

I have never tried durian in my life. I got to know about this fruit from one of the YouTube videos. It said people either like it or hate it. I was very curious to know so I ordered it. But to my surprise, I ended up liking it. I couldn’t sense any unusual smell. Taste was sweet. Smell and taste resembled to if we combine mango, banana and jackfruit. Glad I tried this :)

I’ve always wanted to try Durian fruit but it’s not sold anywhere near me. So freeze-dried was the next best option. I didn’t know what to expect because some of the reviews were bad. But I was pleasantly surprised. It tastes amazing! I would describe it as tasting like “creamy Funyuns”. The package arrived quickly and in good condition.

Hmmm …it’s meh. The smell is good but not as good as other brand for same price. It has something hard after it melted in my mouth. Weird
