Perfect, i got it because my friend had them and i used her whenever i come see her, so good and perfect!

I have used HAI straighteners for 20 years and in the past they have lasted 5+ years before needing replacing. I chose to buy the titanium version this time which was a more expensive version but worked well when it was working... I purchased it in January of 2024 and it is now no longer working and is not returnable according to Amazon. I'm really disappointed in this purchase.

I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a flat iron after the plates on my old Chi started pinching my hair as I was using it. This one had decent reviews and the price wasn’t anything to flinch at. However, I have had this for less than a year and this morning it stopped heating properly. It was hot to the touch, but it isn’t hot enough to straighten out the frizz in my hair, and won’t create a corkscrew curl even though it reads the highest temp possible. Not only that, but the design is somewhat poor as the base of it will frequently pinch my hand when in use.

The HAI that i owned before finally gave out after 5 years or more. My only regret is not buying a newer model sooner. Glides through my hair with ease and looks fabulous!

I have a old Hai silk. I really enjoyed it and so I purchased this one believing it would do the same great job as my old one. It sadly does not. I hate the way it leaves my hair frizzy and on the brink of curling up any moment. This thing was not worth the money I spent on it. Had I known that it wasn't a Hai silk I'd never have purchased it. I didn't feel like going to planet beauty to buy one so I decided to take the easy route and just order one off Amazon. That was my fault I should have gone in to the store to verify I was getting the right product. The second mistake I made was not opening the package right away. I was on business and long story short waited to long to see if I could return the thing. Now I'm stuck with a expensive version of what should be sold as a cheap $20 flat iron. Make sure you buy a HAI silk if you want your hair to stay straight for more than 5 min.
