Amazing- coming from a professional stylist!
Wow, I always go in with high hopes and little expectations with any new product I try but I am completely blown away! I will preface by saying you will need to provide your own peroxide/developer (I went in with wella 1.9% pastel). I always weigh out my product per to manufactures instructions as I always find this gives the best results and I am thoroughly impressed. My hair has had a lot of colours on it, I had it bleached about a few months ago with purple roots into red, then had an intense red (a level 6)over top and a few months later a semi dark chocolate brown (a level 5) on top (all salon professional products) so safe to say there was a lot going on over there. Only had to use one set of sachets as they make quite a large quantity, waited 20 mins. Double washed and to my surprise it’s lifted it, all be it very orange which was to be expected from staining but it is around a level 8 now. My hair feels in perfect condition I’m over the moon. Tried a lot of different colour removers and this is by far one of the most efficient I’ve found. Also the smell of the product is extremely mild which is a nice change for removers. Have a colour correction coming up and will 100% be using this to my aid.

Recommended for removing black box dye!
This is the third colour remover I’ve tried in my quest to get rid of my black box dye. I had already tried colour undo which only removed colour from the top inch of my roots (this confused me because I have only ever coloured my roots so there shouldn’t have been much overlap) I then tried the jobaz brand which did nothing at all. I tried did the first round of this a couple of days ago and it did slightly lighten the mid lengths and ends of my hair and my hair still felt very healthy so I’ve done another round of this tonight and the mid lengths and ends are a lot lighter! I did wrap my head in cling film and a towel this time round so I would definitely recommend doing that as it seems to have made a significant difference. I am going to do a third round the next time I was my hair as I don’t feel it’s had any negative effect on the health of my hair. Another noteful thing about this is that it is less faffy and time consuming than the other colour removers I’ve tried as there’s no need for the prolonged rinsing and buffering. It also doesn’t have any of the eggy smells that the other ones do. The one downside is that you do need 6 or 10 vol developer to use this so if you don’t have that lying around it is an extra expense. Definitely better than spending money on a product that doesn’t actually do anything tho! Very happy with the results. Thank you

You should NOT add developer to this product!
Ok, so this stuff works, and it doesnt smell bad, or damage you hair... however, after reading the reviews, i bought a developer to go with it as apparently you need one- Wrong, i used a 1.9% 6 vol developer, which made my hair go from dark brown to orange! After checking on Chat GPT, you should NOT add developer to this product. Using developer with the Schwarzkopf SKP color remover is a common mistake — it’s designed to be used without developer. Developer actually activates lifting or coloring processes, which the SKP remover isn’t formulated for, causing the color to shift and leave an orange tone! You should only use a developer when toning your hair AFTER using the Color Remover! :) Hope this helps! Off i go now to buy a toner.....

Best colour stripper i’ve used
I was bright copper although i loved it the upkeep was to much having to brighten it every wk not for me. I decided to strip it out back to my more natural highlighted hair. was nervous as it defo is like a bleach bath but better as has conditioning effects in it. But my hair has been tortured so had to be careful condition wise didn’t want it falling out. I have mega thick hair thinking 1 box would be enough it wasn’t as you can only leave on for 20mins even tho i did leave it 30 i feel i took it off too soon it was a very pale peach 🍑 if i’d had another box i would have used that. To tone it i just put i really ashy blonde on it has grabbed which is fine as i know when i wash it a few times it will lighten. It’s just what i wanted and the condition of my hair is perfect plus there was no faffin about washing & rinsing for 10mins etc, just apply it then wash off when ready 💯 for me who is always chopping & changing hair colour 😊

Didn’t work
This product made my hair super orange even tho it was a golden colour before, it felt slightly softer and conditioned as I mixed with the royal activator, whether it striped the colour out of my hair or not is hard to tell but it certainly needed a colour putting on after which wasn’t my plan.

Really good !
Pulled out the black extremely well , knew I’d get hot roots but really surprised with how quick and effective it is and hair condition feels no differentDefinitely grab a 10vol developer to use - it tells you you need it once you open the box so to save anyone extra trouble get your developer the same timeIt’s says in the box you need the igora developer but I used a normal 10vol and had no issue

Works well, but be cautious
The instructions say that it should be used by a professional. Which I am not, but after years of doing my own box dye, I thought I could do this. It really worked well, and removed a lot of colour. However, it seems that applying it is more of an art form than I appreciated. So I would thoroughly research how to apply this correctly before purchasing. Otherwise you could end up with entirely white roots, like I did.
