Magpul MOE 1911 TSP Grip Panels

These fit excellently on my Ruger SR1911 and provided the handgun with an immense amount of grip that the stock grips didn't have. Easy to install and they look great on a stainless 1911. Magpul makes good stuff and this product definitely follows that trend. The amount of grip that the panels have compared to the stock grips is somewhere in between the stock wood material and G10. They are balanced well and offer a noticeable improvement in handling without tearing up your hands if you aren't wearing gloves. The cut out for the magazine release is positioned well to allow easier access to the release compared to standard grips. Overall I have no issues with these grips and would recommend them to anyone who is on the fence.

Great polymer 1911 grips at a great price. These are very comfortable and are fantastic having the thumb cutout for the mag release. These grip better than the original design. If you want to do your own custom stippling on these, it is possible, only if you’re careful. These are not a SOLID through and through piece of polymer and are hollowed or “skeletonized” on the backside- meaning you don’t have much plastic to go through before you’ll poke a hole in the grip basically. Just keep that in mind. Fantastic grips, definitely recommend.

Surprisingly great. They are really rigid, they're super light weight, the TSP texture is really effective, and the thumb cut out is great if you can already hit the mag release, or were really close. The cutout also gives you a decent thumb hold if you shoot thumbs crossed (I don't normally, but it felt very natural with these grips so I had to give it a whirl). Solid, nice looking add to any 1911... but it may look out of place on a GI type. However, they are plastic. Plastic is not allowed on 1911's. There is a 10th circle that even Dante was afraid to confront... and it is for people who put plastic on 1911's.

Let's begin with what these are not. These are not the fancy G10 grips you can get for 1911s these days. Those are awesome. I've felt them and they look gorgeous and are functional. However, I've recently popped my 1911 Cherry as a late Millennial/Early Gen z shooter. I appreciated the platform yet still kinda turned my nose to it. I bought a Tisas 1911 A1 and I shot it. Very basic but super well built for the price. They cut the corners on the grips and by nature of an A1, the sights. These grips will not be your Instagram threads highest like count. These will however give you great functional texture without breaking the bank. If you have a 1911 that is a bit of a beater and everyday gun and need some new grips for (wait for it) extra grip, these are excellent. That have the same texture as my ARs SL grip. Buy with confidence.

Great grips. Fit perfect on my GSG 1911. Price is cheap for what you get.
