I don't know about the Align brand to compare it with the Enzymatic Therapy Acidophilus Pearls. I have been using these for years (long before they made the other ones targeting yeast infections) to prevent yeast infections and they do work. I am prone to yeast infections because of hormones I'm on. Without these, I get yeast infections regularly. I have never switched to the ones targeted for yeast.

What is the difference or connection to probiotic and acodopolos?

Probiotics are live micro-organisms are found in fermented foods like yogurt and dietary supplements.  It is believed to relieve or help digestion problems.  Acidophilus is a bacterium (bacteria) that ferments sugars into lactic acid. They are found naturally in our intestines and mouth.  And this bacteria/acidophilus in simple terms has the same benefit as the probiotics that we ingest when we buy live culture yogurt and take supplements.  So if you buy milk that touts as having acidophilus bacteria, then you are going to drink that milk and has the power of live culture yogurt and supplement. It is just your choice whether you want to eat and drink your priobotics:) or buy a bottle of probiotic tablets from your local drug store and take some.  Hope this helps.
