Rivets are way too long for my Jon Boat
These rivets are way too long for my Jon Boat to peen (mushroom) properly.I had to cut off the rivet to extend above the surface by a height equal to the diameter of the rivet shaft.(~ 0.182in (3/16) above the surface of the inside of the boat.)The heads were a little bigger, 0.47 vs 0.38in. Had to clear paint around hole so it sits flush.The shaft diameter was also a little bigger, 0.182 vs 0.172in. I used a 3/16 (0.1875) drill to open the hole a bit and put some JB Weld on the rivet before inserting them.
