Greenworks 10-Inch Replacement Chainsaw Chain 29052

Package arrived with the bottom cut open. Convenient, as the packaging was far from "frustration free". However, it was evident that the chain was not new, but used. It fit perfectly. However, in trying to use it, it was apparent that I'd have been better trying to saw logs with a toothbrush than with this chain. Complained to the vendor and the corrected the problem by sending a new chain. All is forgiven.

When purchasing the Greenworks 16 inch 40v chainsaw (model# 20312) on Amazon, they advertise chain oil and Greenworks replacement chain (model# 2904402) as frequently bought together.But, on Greeenworks website, this is the wrong chain for that chainsaw. Per Greenworks website the correct chain for this chainsaw is model# 2904602.I'm not sure if chain model# 2904402 will work with this chainsaw or not, but after purchasing the chainsaw, oil, and replacement chain, as advertised on Amazon, I will be contacting Greenworks customer service, possibly returning chain model# 2904402, and purchasing the proper chain, model# 2904602.

The bar is just fine but the chain is junk. It is not very sharp. For the price what can one expect. I will be purchasing a chain and using this for emergency back up. I bought this for the bar but was hoping more from the chain. I might have been better off just buying the bar.

Greenworks site was sold out, local stores either didnt carry the brand or didnt have the size chain i needed. Found this replacement chain but my model # wasnt listed. I crossed my fingers and ordered 2 of them. Pleasantly surprised. It fit, runs, and cuts! My saw model # is model#CS60L4R3 Item#2019302. Im a lil disappointed that the chain is an Oregon brand chain in a bag package inside a Greenworks plastic "blister package". I kinda feel like i paid extra for an Oregon brand chain just for the Greenworks name and additional packaging. I love Greenworks products. Wish "they" would just tell "us" They use Oregon chains and that they're compatible with thier saws.
