I actually haven't installed it yet but from the moment I opened the package I could tell it was made of the highest quality materials.

I don't see how this can ever be used in its original form.
The quality of the latch seems good, but I don't see how it will work on any door out of the box. It only latches when the door is parallel to the wall that the latch is attached to. With how long the arm is, the door will never be parallel. I had to heat it with a torch and bend it. Now it works great.
