Works for me
Seems to work lowered temps after idle time of 1hr for my TBSS with Efans in 90 deg.

Can’t go wrong with Royal purple
I’ve used this product three years in a row, and it has definitely helped my cooling system. Stay clean.

For cars with aluminium heads, intakes to avoid corrosive effects.
Any engine with aluminium and iron/steel components like an intake manifold, or high performance heads need this to avoid corrosion--I add one to my fuel overflow bottle every Spring--with a mixture of 70% distilled water to 30% antifreeze; I do not mix with any other antifreeze additives , or corrosion proof additives. whatever you use... do not mix these additives. stick to one. My coolant has been used for 15 years without R&R and no black in the overflow bottle; no mess, no clogging, and a cool running 302 Roller cam with .544 lift. At 6560 elevation, on blocks from November to May--no side effects or erosion in this one owner car.

Results: 2004 Toyota 4.7L & 1992 Chevy 5.7L (350 CID)
There was no apparent change in operating temps for the 2004 Toyota Sequoia (4.7L), but then again, Toyota Gauges (at least in the Sequoia's) were and probably remain notorious for being 'wonky'.i.e. its oil pressure gauge typically reads low, until it doesn't, then it does again. The analog gas gauge is also a delight, usually showing the gas level with reasonable accuracy, but other times appearing to be empty, complete with the illuminated idiot light, even after a recent fill up, when you know darn well there is plenty of gas in it.With such suspect gauges, the heat reduction on her vehicle is inconclusive. I'd have needed a thermal reader with her vehicle to compare the before and after.Even so, the RP Ice provides lubrication for the thermostat and water pump (though most pumps are sealed now), plus its anti-corrosion elements are beneficial.I had added some distilled water to the 50/50 mix radiator fluid for the ideal ratio for better performance of the RP Ice additive in both vehicles that maintains an appropriate freeze protection for our location.I've since read that using purified water in radiators is better than using distilled. It may be that distilled water pulls minerals from the internal metal surface areas into the radiator fluid? Regardless, I used what I had on hand (distilled). However, my 1992 (350 CID/ 5.7L) Chevy Cube Van's analog gas gauge indicated a drop of at least a 10° F from it's previous normal operating temperature, perhaps up towards 15° F temperature drop after being left to idle up to operating temperatures twice, then IRL driving about and on a cross country trip towing a 14' cargo trailer.

Did not cool it down
I've used this and I used the Redline Water Wetter. I saw a good bit of cooling with the Redline but didn't see any with the RP Ice. I'm a big fan of Royal Purple products but I got to go with the Redline Water Wetter on this one.
