Absolute nightmare installing these. Get your AC drained before you try to install these so you can disconnect everything that’s in the way. I also took the right front fender cover to access the back bottom bolts on the valve cover there’s also a wire that needs to be disconnected down there as well to free up the wiring harness that runs over the valve cover on the passenger (right) side. Undo the bolt for the trans dipstick and oil dipstick and unhook the coolant lines to give you the most room possible to get these covers out. Don’t forget your RTV gasket maker (I used some of this to keep the gasket in the valve cover on the right side so the cam didn’t knock the gasket out.) I also found removing the bolts on the valve cover before reinstalling helped tremendously with the clearance issue. I love my F150 for its reliability but good lord it’s awful to work on. God speed for anyone putting these in. Turned out to take a WHOLE weekend.

Part is fine, do your research before starting on a 5.4L F150, though.
Not a fun job on a 2007 5.4L F150. Be sure to do some research before venturing into it, because it's quite a job. I was able to get the passenger side out without interrupting the AC refrigerant (which the manual says to have discharged prior to starting the project), but it involves taking everything possible off that side of the engine bay and the plastic wheel well...Driver side is somewhat easier, but certainly not much fun.Gasket worked fine... could have used a little more meat to fit in the Valve cover groove better as mine fell out as I was trying to get the valve cover back on... which created a good bit more work since I didn't notice it until I started the truck... I'd suggest using some silicon in the groove to help keep this gasket in place as you're installing it.
