Don't use in a didhwasher
Looks good. It's solid. Does what it's supposed to but having put it in a dishwasher there was water leaking from the handle where the silver band is. Took several attempts to shake this water out. I wasn't impressed and considered returning it but have decided to keep it and was by hand.

Does The Job
Does the job I got it for. And that's doling out soaked Dog 'kibble'.I use it cold. So, no idea how this thing'd react to a burning hot pot. But, yeah; Non scratchy. Doesn't bend. Perfectly good piece of kit :)

Usable but imperfect for draining
When cooking two or more dishes at once, one slotted spoon or stirrer may be insufficient if their flavours are incompatible, e.g one sweet, another savoury or one mildly-flavoured and another a curry; that requires using two such as this "MasterClass Slotted Spoon with Soft Grip Handle, Non Stick Safe Nylon, 34 cm". Another very similar spoon is currently used and one was recently discarded after it fell from a pan onto a hot burner. They are also extensively used as servers for hot foods. The brand is known via prior purchases. This slotted spoon has just two slots, fewer than most alternatives, which could arguably make it more of a stirrer than for draining foods. When used with leafy vegetables and anything wide and limp, they can stick to the bowl and effectively 'seal' its rather narrow slots and prevent draining-off the cooking liquid. It is more effective as a server when some draining may be required and as a stirrer. Otherwise, there is a corresponding solid bowl spoon that is best used for serving sauces, stews, curries and similar. The bowl and stem are nylon, as is the chunky rubber-like grip that provides a fully secure hold, and therefore safe to use in all cookware whether coated, non-coated, non-stick, glass or any other. The sole restriction, as with all nylon utensils, is to keep them away from flames and from direct contact with anything very hot as the nylon will distort or melt. Consequently, they should not be left unattended within a pan while cooking although normally safe if left for a few seconds. The spoon is fairly rugged but is more flexible than other known examples. Its 34cm length is sufficient to keep the hand at a safe distance from a heat source to avoid discomfort. There is a reinforced suspension hole of a sensible diameter near the tip of the handle should it be needed rather than using a tray or drawer for storage, the latter being our normal practice. It is also surprisingly inexpensive and a worthy addition to any currently owned cooking and/or serving utensils although not without some limitations.

Really nice quality. The handle is particularly nice. Large but soft. So nice I bought the set!

Excellent slotted spoon
Bought this slotted spoon to use in my non stick wok & it’s been exactly what I’d hoped- it’s a great shape & not too long making really easy to use especially as I have limited mobility.

Perfectly decent, good quality slotted spoon. Good depth and capacity.
This isn't a compact item, but a well-made slotted spoon with a decent depth to the bowl. These items are ideal when testing pasta for 'done-ness', for example, or for when poaching eggs/meringues, which is what I use them for, most commonly. The plastic won't scratch your non-stick cookware. Mine has replaced a metal one that I have used since the mid Eighties.Being plastic, the handle stays cool to the touch. It's a well-balanced item, just make sure you keep it clear of hotplates, and all will be well. The black plastic is tasteful, and a nice alternative to all the acid colours that are so popular for kitchen items at the moment.
