Aveeno Sheer Hydration Daily Moisturizing Fragrance-Free Lotion with Nourishing Prebiotic Oat, Fast-Absorbing Body Moisturizer for Dry Skin with Lightweight, Breathable Feel, 18 fl. oz

I have been using Aveeno Sheer Hydration (previously the "light blue top," but now it's brown) every day for years. Unlike the "green top" Aveeno lotion, this one is lighter weight and thinner, making it easier to apply. It does not feel sticky on the skin and dries down almost imperceptibly (the label describes this as a "powder-like feel," but I have never used powder so can't say if that's accurate). Despite this, it does actually do a good job moisturizing the skin. Personally, I feel it is better as a body lotion than face or hand, but you could probably use this all over. For my skin, applying this in the morning after a shower is sufficient for pretty much the whole day. Drier skin types might need a thicker or more hydrating lotion, or may need to reapply at some point during the day. In the winter, I supplement this with a thicker cream or lotion like Eucerin, and I use a more hydrating hand cream as well.My only complaint would be that the dispenser pump (brown top) is difficult to position at a convenient angle and sometimes dispenses too much. There is a shorter distance to travel and it takes a firmer push down to dispense than the old light blue top. In fact, I removed and kept the light blue top from an old bottle and have been replacing the new brown top every time I get a new bottle of lotion.

This is my favorite lotion to use on my legs because it goes on sheer and is not sticky at all. It has no scent and moisturizes well.

I used to only use this on my face as it claimed to be non-comedogenic. When they changed the artwork, so to speak, not the formula, that claim disappeared so I’m not sure if it is anymore. I don’t think the formula has changed, might be psychological if so because of the above. That’s the only reason why I’m taking off a star. Anyways, I ended up using it as body lotion and I really like it. Overall, it’s very silky and light feeling and does moisturize leaving my skin soft. I’m not sure I’ll be able to go back to other lotions as they all are heavy/thick feeling in comparison. Never really thought about it until I used this. The bottle’s pump has changed recently too, I have to get used to it (puts out more) and adjust my measurements because I seem to be going through the bottles quicker. I do recommend!

I absolutely love this stuff! A little goes a long way, its spreads so easily and absorbs quickly and leaves your skin feeling moisturized! Honestly, it's great! You won't be disappointed

Hydrating and comfortable to wear. More lightweight than the standard Daily Moisturizing Lotion. They do mean it when they say “sheer!” Fragrance-free and great for sensitive skin.

I truly detest thick lotions. If it’s too thick or doesn’t absorb well, I can’t get back in the shower fast enough to get it off of me. Which really sucks in the winter when my skin desperately needs moisture. This one, however, has been a godsend. I put it on right after the shower and I don’t feel greasy or sticky.
