Some manual programing required
These cameras require you to know a little bit about configuring network settings, POE etc... if you don't understand what I'm about to type they aren't for you (hence the negative reviews). If you understand the following you probably can buy with confidence and be ok:1. You will need to either get a 12VDC power supply for each camera, or use POE to power them. (Either via an injector, or POE switch, coupled to good solid copper Cat 5e or better cable).2. You will need to download and install the VMS software available at the sellers web site: FULUVA.CN3. You will need to be patient and try a few things as the instructions and software are not straight forward (Less than good English... ie Chingresh) nor updated (the VMS software is a new version than the instructions... and a few of the menus names are different).4. The cameras come with DHCP off, and a hard IP coded in. I connected my laptop to a non network/wan connected switch, then connected the IP cam to a POE port on that switch. Ran the VMS software and followed the poorly worded directions by reading the tiny print in the direction's pictures. Once I got it to scan for IP's, the camera came up. If you can't scan and discover the camera's, you may need to open your computers Ethernet adapter in control panel and manually set your IP to 192.168.0.XXX... .or 192.168.1.XXX... of the two cameras I got one was in one subnet, and the other in the other...5. You use the VMS software to set the IP, default gate way, subnet mask etc.... and it doesn't always work the first... or second... or 5th time.... be persistant. Once I had to change one value at a time... the orther it worked the first time... be persistant: once it works you are good. I left DHCP off and assigned IP's outside my router's DHCP range and put in IP reservations for the devices and their MAC's (again, if you don't get this, you probably don't want to use these cameras).6: When it comes to setting up the other settings like time, language, compression types...onscreen info etc... There are youtube videos from FULUVA that will help. But basically its a sub menu in the "live view tab" so you have to add the camera to the live view (it had another name in the instructions). Then right click to get to settings/configuration.7: if you try to browse to the camera instead of using VMS, it can be frustrating. Mine were all in Chinese and also gave all sorts of browser errorsHope this helps. For the $, if you can handle some basic network setup and work through un intuitive menus and such, these are a great buy.

Great company to deal with - Customer Service actually works
I have a dozen of these cameras, but two of them failed after many months outside. It happens. I then wrote the company in China and told them what happened. We went back and forth a couple of times, and I sent them a screenshot of my Amazon receipt. The company (Fuluva) arranged to send me two replacement cameras almost immediately, and these were delivered as promised in a few days. I'm very pleased, and now have replacements for locations around my house that still need them. The cameras themselves are quite sharp (1080p), and the night vision works well. I'm using PoE for power. I recommend them.

Good cameras for the money
Camera itself is actually pretty good value for the money. I have 2 of these: 1 in my front yard and one looking in my back yard. My only gripe is the vms software that it comes with (called vms) can be a little finicky to use but once set up its been good. One thing that could be better on the camera is the ir night vision. Its still a good picture but there is a light concentration in the center.

Clear image, unreliable network
Occasionally looses its network connection, meaning once a month or so. Other economy cameras I have do not have this issue, running thru the same network and cabling. While this connection does eventually reestablish, it often leaves several hours of dropped coverage. Image quality is great during daytime, and night vision is acceptable though fades quickly from foreground to distance. I would consider night vision usefulness to be not more than 20-30 feet even with moderate external night time light from incidental sources.

Decent cheap camera
UPDATE: a little overdue but I received the replacement quickly and has been up and operational ever since. My camera was defective out of the box. It received power but no data. Also, sounded like there was a relay switching on and off every 5 seconds.I will adjust review accordingly after a replacement has been received.

Remarkable image for the price.
I currently have 13 cameras in various places. A majority of them are 3 and 4 Megapixel cameras that I have "turned down" to 1080P. These are really just as good and considerably cheaper than the other cameras I bought. The only thing I don't like about them, is they REQUIRE a Windows system to set them up. My system is totally Linux based so I had to bring in a Windows laptop to set up the cameras, but once they were set up, they work fine with my Linux zone minder system.

Good HD picture and night visions is pretty good
Installed well over 100 of these now. HD is really good for the cost of the camera and Night visions is good up to about 70ft in pitch dark. Easy to setup with our NVR and housing is strong metal not cheap plastic. Only gripe is the PoE port on some almost feels flimsy, like connection moves around in it. Otherwise great camera and shipping speed. Going to keep using them.
