Gets My Stamp of Approval as a “Certified Moon Machine”
Changing the time and other functions:I’ve been to a watch repair shop several times in the past few years to have a battery replaced, and in two shops I was asked if I could leave it overnight. I was amused to find out why they needed 24 hours to replace a battery, which is because they are embarrassed about needing the time to find someone who knows how to set the time etc. The last guy I went to who wanted 24 hours confessed and told me he had to have his wife figure out how to set the time and whatnot. Another person who left a review on this mentioned he was able to change the functions without the manual. Even as a retired engineer I’m not quite that good. It’s nice that most the gadgets we get these days have a user manual included, but if you use it you’d better have a good magnifying glass to see that tiny print. Thank God for those all so nice pdf user manuals available online.Pros:1- It's fabulous the way the analog hands automatically move to the correct time position after you set the digital time.2- You can be at the North Pole or one of those places where it’s dark for six months, and the charge on your solar watch battery will last that long (actually ten months).3- The battery never has to be replaced.4- Displays both Digital and Analog time.5- Glow in the dark hands and 12, 3, 6 & 9 positions.6- Battery indicator tells you if the battery is low, middle or hi charge.7- You don't have to have sunlight to charge - Charges well with indoor lighting. Went from Middle Charge to High Charge in a few hours with indoor lighting. So don't worry about cloudy days.8- The low cost for such a good quality watch with so many features does not break the bank.Cons:1- Minor – The analog glow in the dark feature isn’t very bright, but it’s okay since you can press the light button that illuminates the digital time.2- Minor – List of city codes is limited. Many cities are not on the list. But if your city is not on the list you can pick one that’s in the same time zone as you, which could mean you may not have the automatic Daylight Savings Time, and may have to change it manually.3- Minor - The sound of the chime or alarm is not very loud.Yes, I admit to being a gadget freak, and as such I will also admit to this being my second solar powered watch. The first was a little less money and does not have a rechargeable battery but I decided to keep it because it looks nice. This one is my favorite because the battery is rechargeable & I like all the features. It's my second Casio watch. The first one I've had for several years and I love it as well, with all it's features of Altimeter, Barometer etc. So I can definitely recommend Casio watches.

Very Nice Watch works well
Great watch so far solar recharging works great easy to see and read and works great for what I want pretty much being able to see the time and date really don't use any of the other functions on the watch very comfortable band seems very sturdy and well made I have had a number of these style watches over the past several years and really enjoy them but they last about a year or year and a half and either the strap breaks or the battery runs out This Casio so far seems much sturdier than the cheaper watches I have owned and the solar powered battery will allow it to last several years so for me its just what I wanted a simple watch that is easy to read, looks good and should last me for 10 years or more just what I wanted and at a very reasonable price for what you get in the watch will update after I've had it a few years to see how it actually holds up but so far seems excellent and a great buy

GREAT BUY! This watch is freakin' awesome.
Okay, so I've spent thousands of dollars on over dozens of fancy watches over the years that are a pain in the ass because you have to replace the batteries and adjust the time and dates, mostly because I thought if you want something that looked nice, you gotta pay big bucks for it. I've recently become a salesman, and the first thing they told me about my appearance, is you gotta shave the beard, and you gotta lose the fancy shiny expensive looking watches...because it made me look like I was into it for the money (that's a no-no). One of my coworkers who makes over 100k a year said he bought one of these for $40 at a place that rhymes with moles. It looks sporty and less dressy, and if I insisted on wearing a watch, go for something like this. When I saw this watch at the department store, I thought it looked pretty sweet. I knew nothing about what it did, then read the reviews on Amazon and decided for $30, who gives a crap? If I don't like it I'll send it back.I've had it for an hour, been tinkering around, and all I can say is WOW.First thing you need to do when you get this watch is adjust it to your time zone. What's awesome about this, is that it KNOWS what time zone you're in, *IF* you know how to adjust it. PRO TIP: Hold down the adjust button for five seconds and the hands will move by themselves to 12:00. Then hold adjust again for 2 seconds and the watch will AUTOMATICALLY set the digital and analog time (yes, the analog will spin clock or counter-clockwise on its in to match the digital) to your time zone on its own for you. *MIND BLOWN* So anytime I get on a plane and fly, all I have to do is repeat this sequence, not even know what time it is or the zone I'm in, and the watch resets the time for me. KICK FRIGGIN ASS!Not to mention it has a second time zone so you could know what time it is in Bangladesh (useless for me but cool nonetheless), 5 alarms, a stopwatch, military or standard time, the date, the day of the week, and probably a bunch of other features I'll learn about eventually but will probably never use. Then it's got a light for the digital that you can program for the amount of seconds you want it to light up! SCHA-WING! It's also solar which means I'll never have to pay for a battery because I'm outside in the sun for atleast an hour every day. Waterproof, lightweight, feels durable on my wrist. The glass over the watch feels cheap, but to be honest, who cares it's a work watch. And if the glass happens to break, woe is me, it's going to be another thirty bucks. Boo Hoo.The manual is a beast and after 20 minutes of reading, I gave up and went to Google, and found my answers. Why rifle through a manual with the internet on your side? When you ask a question just include Casio Module 5208 and many of my questions were answered.Never thought I'd come upon such a great watch that looks so good while being so cheap, and has so many features, for such a great price tag. 100% satisfied off the bat, everything else is icing on the cake. If you're on the fence, GET THIS WATCH you will NOT regret it!
