I’d give it a two stars only because the hair actually get straight. I followed the instructions to the letter, and I have done keratin treatments for more than 8 years.First of all, the formaldehyde IS THERE! I am so annoyed when they lie!!My nose and eyes were burning so much while drying the hair. And my throat was itchy and burning for more than 15 hrs later....The first 5 days my hair looked so well! Silky, soft and straight...... then I started to notice some short bits in odd places... and after less than 2 months I had to run to a hair salon to cut more than 2 inches off to have decent looking hair again.....and to think I was trying to grow it!I still have more than half a bottle of product but I wouldn’t give it to my worst enemy!! So it will go straight to the bin....

This is incredible!!!I’ve had Brazilian straightening treatments done many times in salons and it’s a very costly affair (over £100). This was a fraction of the price, I did it myself, which was ok, I find the salon girls can get rough and my scalp can be sore afterwards. It takes time but it’s simple enough. I would advise using plastic gloves for applying the lotion and when using the dryer and straightening irons have a window open. The results are worth it, my course frizzy curly long hair is glossy and sleek still 4 months later!!There is loads left in the bottle too. Although it doesn’t say on the bottle make sure you use a stripping shampoo that gets all the products out of your hair to big in with, I think this is quite important. I don’t have to straighten my hair as often. This is a great product!!!

Admittedly the smell of this is overpowering and it does make your eyes water but it is a chemical process and it does work very well if you look after it properly. If you follow all the guidelines then you will have beautiful silky straight hair. This is my second time applying this product and the last application lasted for around three months and only went slightly wavy before i put another treatment on. It has saved me so much time in drying and straightening and I get a lot of compliments, although I haven't told anyone my secret yet.

I have been Brazilian blow dry/keratin treating my hair (mixed Afro Caribbean/European) for about 5 years both in salons and for the last few at home with various different products, so have experienced lots of brands.This one has been one of the least effective I have come across. It IS easier to use as u don’t have to wash it out straight away (and then dry and style your hair again in the same day) and so the whole process takes about say 2 hours for shoulder length hair.However, whilst it will make the hair softer, straighter, shinier and easier to manage, the effects will wear off much much quicker than other brands I have used. I would say a noticeable effect lasts for about 2 weeks. Other products I’ve used have lasted about 2 - 3 months.You can get about 2 applications from this bottle, but like I say may be worth spending a bit extra on something more powerful/effective and not bothering with this. I won’t be buying again.

I waited almost three weeks to write this. It was very easy to use, not as pungent as some other reviews. But it really doesn’t last very long at all and isn’t nearly as good as salon done work. Hair is very wavy after washes, instead of straight like with salon keratin. Have to straighten it afterwards and even then, the effect doesn’t last! Can’t wait for lockdown to be over so I can get proper keratin done!
