Bleach, Vol. 48: God is Dead Kindle & comiXology

This is the end of the arc. And wow is it a good one.There are some real and serious surprises in this. Even when virtually nothing surprises me about this story anymore, I was truly surprised.Some truly weird stuff happens as well. Along with a lot of happy and a lot of sad. It's a great ending to the meandering Arrancar story arc.If you stop here and never read anymore, you're guaranteed to never be disappointed.The next Arc is a bit of a let down compared to this, and though I haven't read it yet, my friends tell me the last volume of the final arc flies in the face of all we love and believe about Bleach. So be warned you might want to stop here if you want a mostly happy ending.

I would've liked a longer fight between Ichigo and Aizen to see the extent of their new transformations but instead the clash between them feel rushed. It is still worth the read though.

I bought this book because it had a beautiful man on the cover. I didn’t realize the drastic event that occurred in this volume. (All I know is pain). It had a slight damage but it’s nothing major.

I've seen the whole show and am just trying to complete my manga collection. I couldn't beat the Amazon price and this point in the story is one of my favorites. Any bleach fan would love it.

Being a Bleach fan, I had to buy this one. I collect many of the Shonen Jump sets and this had to be included. Great read, like all of the others!

Bleach is just awesome. It's one of my favorite mangas. The characters are awesome as well. Aizen is just awesome. This was a great conclusion to this arc.

Awesome ending to the best arc of Bleach. Compared to this the current arc is s***.

As Aizen prepares to begin the creation of the Oken by sacrificing Karakura Town, Gin Ichimaru finally shows his true colours. With Aizen still evolving due to the Hogyoku it looks like nobody can stop him until Ichigo returns from his training to use the Final Getsuga Tensho and the two clash for the final time.This forty-eighth volume of the 'Bleach' manga is the final volume of the Arrancar arc and if I am honest I feel that the series should have really ended here. While I do reasonably like the arc that follows this volume (the Lost Agent arc), the ending of this volume was nicely done with some surprisingly emotional scenes that would have been a great place to end.As for the volume itself, the plot does resolve itself in a somewhat rushed manner but it does have some nice action and it finely reveals Gin's motivation and gives more information about his zanpakutô. The artwork is generally good but there are some places that it gets extremely good and the translation of the volume is of a good quality as well.I greatly enjoyed this volume of 'Bleach' and will give it a low five stars. Unfortunately, while the Lost Agent arc and the current Vandenreich arc have some very good moments in them, they have yet to live up to some of the arcs that came before them and whether the series can be as great as it was remains to be seen.
