NGK Dcpr8Eix Spark Plug, 6546

Saw the review that some one used for R1200GS; I installed on my 2007 R1200RT; Engine sounds better than before; I can see bit better pickup now.

I needed to change my plugs on my 2007 Buell Xb12scg and they did the trick, same plugs as before but it’s such a good feeling when the bike is back to feeling new again.

Installed these on my 2007 BMW R1200R. A set of four obviously needed as there are four spark plugs on the bike. After install, initial start up, and a short ride the next day they seem to perform well. I might would even say it started easier than normal. Not sure about how much quieter as the motor already seemed to be quiet with 32k miles on it. I’d recommend them, and will purchase them again in 15-20k miles to replace these. Whether it calls for it or not.

It says not for the 2009 R1200GSA but not so. I replaced the OEM plugs (NGK DCPR8EKC) with these iridium plugs and not only did the bike idle like a purring kitten but whoa! It takes off like a like a race horse! I did not gauge them but did test the gauge. I have not noticed a difference in gas mileage or engine temperature. For GSA use the 16mm - 5/8in thin wall socket, preferably magnetized or with a rubber grommet.One year in use (low mileage rider) and still clean.

I installed a set of these plugs in my 2014 HD Iron 883, made a night and day difference in how the bike picks up from a twist of the throttle. When I removed the stock plugs, they were way out of spec on the gap. The NGK Iridium plugs came pre-gapped. I noticed that the bike starts easier, seems to run cooler (less lean), and pulls through the RPM range easier after installing these plugs.I will be purchasing another set for when these need to be swapped out, definitely recommend to other Sportster riders.

The part has been replaced by NGK with a new version which will not fit Ducati Monsters. You will have to buy a standard version and not this iridium version of the plug.

I bought these as a replacement for the stock plugs in my 2005 BMW R1200RT. They work great and bike runs like a champ!

this plug is costly however it gives you peace of mind knowing that the reliability of the spark will ignite the combustion maintaining performance instead of building up unburned gasses in the cylinder and then possibly having a leaned situation by the gas stripping away oils from the cylinder when the exhaust just pushes the gas though to the exhaust then guess what, back fire from gas igniting in the exhaust possibly doing damage to the muffler or pipe or exhaust valve.
