Good Natural Spray
I was looking for an alternative to salt spray to use on my locs where I get some frizz and to help them form better and this is working great. The salt spray is just so harsh so I decided to try a sugar based alternative.A few things to consider- the spray isn't sticky but if you were to run your hand over the sprayed area you will feel a texture similar to salt spray so I don't knwo how thsi woudl effect fine hair. The spray does wear off at the end of the day so it is easy to wash out.The smell is a big miss for me- I belive it is the geranium oil that is prevalent. Its not terrible and it doesn't smell chemically but I was hoping for a more mildy herbal scent where its much more floral- the smell does dissapate fast after application. I added some other essential oils to brign the geranium scent down.

My NEW Hairspray!!! Had me at first spray & hold.
Okay so my hair is very 'unruly' naturally curly and slightly dry also very hard to get a brush through. I'm super particular about my products but will definelty take the time out to write a 5 star review when warranted, and I LOVE THIS HAIRSPRAY! I've been diagnosed with {Multiple Chemical Sensitivity} MCS and very concerned with anything contain harsh & harmful chemicals. So needless to say, my entire home is full of non-toxic products the best to my ability and happy to add my new hair spray & hair gel to list. When I first sprayed, I noticed a light mist and pleasant smell. The smell is like a lemongrass, citrus, grape fruit. Its not harmful whatsoever because my symptoms would tell me so. This product is also listed on the Enviromental Working Group App {EWG} as a '2' for zero allergy/cancer related concerns. The scale of numbers range from {1-10} 1 being the least harmful to 10 being the most harmful. After showering, I apply the Herbal Choice Mari hair gel to my wet head, let air dry then add the Organic hair spray as my finishing product when styling my hair. The hold is light, not stiff, nor sticky and not firm. Just natural enough to keep it styled but not enough to hold it from the highest desert winds {as I live in NV} However, being that its toxic free, has a great scent, cruelty free, does the job, and cost effective--this product is the right choice for me. And as I said, I'm very picky when it comes to what products I use on my hair or body in general. Both in ingredients and how they work overall. Give this hair spray a chance! I do understand that everyone's needs are different in hair texture and in choice but I can honestly say, I am impressed for it being a natural organic product, and I will be purchasing it again. Thank You Mari for caring about the planet, what goes into your product, and the people who NEED IT due to chemical sensitivities.

Sorry, doesn't work for me.
I could not use. It made my head itch. However, it was a great spray bottle and I put my old hairspray in it.

Decent Hold For An Organic Hair Spray…
I love that this hair spray is USDA Certified Organic. I specifically seek out organic products. The pump spray works well and gives off a fine mist when sprayed. There is no need to worry about having spray concentrated on only one part of your head. Also, with having a fine mist expelled per spray I think this 8 oz. bottle will last a while. It does not leave a white or sticky residue like some regular hair spray does. It also does not give you that stiff feeling as well that regular hair spray leaves. It has a very citrus-y smell which does not last for very long if you are concerned that you will be smelling like a box of orange juice. It’s a little pricey for hair spray at $13.95 a pop but it’s worth it in my opinion if organic is what you’re looking for. All in all it’s a pretty decent hair spray for being organic and I will most likely re-purchase when this bottle is finished.

Nice Organic Hairspray
I purchased this to replace the toxic hairspray that I had been using. I purchased the smallest size available as I was skeptical that it would work. To my surprise it actually holds better than the toxic hairspray. It is organic and has a natural scent from essential oils. It only takes a small amount so don’t spray too much. I am sold on this and will be ordering the large bottle soon!

Good ingredients but doesn’t really hold much.
Yes this is more natural for your hair and better for environment, however I was looking for a natural flexible hold spray. It barely holds and within 10 min my hair went limp. I have long hair that I blowdry in gentle swoops away from the face so while I work the hair doesn’t fall into my face. Flexible hairspray usually keeps it in place. This brand only added scent and felt like product was in my hair. I sprayed it again and it looked like my hair was greasy/ wet because of the natural oils. The better one that really works nicely is Amika Flexus that my hair dresser uses- which is not good for the environment. So hard to find something natural that works!

A nice spray...the scent was a dealbreaker for me
I think this is actually a very good flex hold hairspray. Unfortunately, it ended up being a disappointment for me. It ticked off almost all the boxes that are tough for a non-aerosol, healthier type of hair spray: It has a fine mist (does not come out wet / clumpy), it did not leave my hair crunchy yet gave it the structure & light hold that I wanted. The deal breaker for me is the smell. I tried to figure out before buying what it would be like but all I could gather was that it had a citrus smell. And I guess technically you could call it that. To me this smells like lemon furniture polish. Guess I was hoping more for an orange or even a natural lemon-y scent. I had to leave my bathroom after using only a small amount because the scent made me feel sick. Needless to say, I won't be able to use this due to the way I react to the smell. Scent is like that though - what one person finds pleasant, someone else can't stand. I'll have to keep looking.
