Fits perfectly (very firm), plug and play on a 2009 RAV4
Beautiful soft green LEDs behind the charger look great. They're not overly bright either, they're a level of brightness that lets you see them but doesn't blind you in the dead of night. They connected in a virtually self-explanatory way to the cigarette lighter of my 2009 RAV4 and the fit was perfect. The AUX/USB port beside it is fairly loose, and it won't come out if it's pulled, but it feels cheap. This quick charge port fits a LOT tighter, and I'm extremely happy with this product. For about the same price as a charger that would plug in, this is a permanent solution that frees up your lighter socket for a large power inverter. I needed this ability since I wanted to power my laptop when I'll be "working from home" in my car while we are moving.

OEM look and fitment for 2018 Tundra
This item was used to add usb ports in a 2018 Tundra in an unused factory mounting location. For the install: The factory wiring harness was cut off as it did not interface with either existing connector. I opted to solder to 14g wire and connect directly to fuse box with a 5v low profile mini add a fuse on an open slot that turns on in the accessory position. The item clicks into the unused slot at botton of dash with no wiggle, very secure. No modification needed. The product: The green usb port illumination is not overly bright, mainly due to mounting location and easy to use. Time will tell how long the product will last, but seems pretty solid for the two weeks I've been using it. The item looks very much OEM when installed correctly.

Good Chioce to add USB ports to a 5th Generation 4Runner
I have a 2019 Limited and TRD OR. I used two of these in each 4Runner to add a total of 4 USB ports. These are pretty easy to install, it's very nice they can connect to the car with out cutting into any wires. I soldered both together to feed off of one 12V power port (cigarette lighter port). You just disconnect the trucks wiring at the very back of the trucks power port and connect the USB plug's wiring harness then reconnect the UBS wiring harness to the power port (like a pass through), perfect with zero cutting of the factory wire or needed to wire anything to the fuse box. My first 4Runner I connected to the power port in the center console storage compartment - this was a bit of a pain because it so tight and hard to remove the factory connector and with one hand connect everything up. The second 4Runner I connected to the power port under the stereo next the factory USB port, it's a little bit more involved from taking the 4Runner apart but much easier to hook up everything. As you can see in the pictures this looks very factory, the USB ports fit very well and nice and snug in the factory openings. The green LED's aren't overly bright at night. Overall I am very satisfied.

Fit 2011 Tacoma
Product fit in 2011 Tacoma, but would not connect to the 12V connector. Ultimately I had to buy T-tap terminals to splice the connections. Easy to do, just took extra materials. Hardest part is getting access to the install location below the AC controls. I also "turned off" the green LED by cutting into the side of the housing with a razor blade and breaking the LED connections with a small screw driver. I then covered the hole with some electrical tape. Ultimately installation was more involved than I hoped, but the end result is great.

Bi-directional!
I got the dual usb-A version with QC3 and the green lights. One thing no one seems to mention about this is that these are usb-A but you can plug your cord in both ways! I've seen flimsy iterations of the bi-directional usb-A but this one actually seems sturdy enough to last. The slight increase in port thickness is hardly noticable so I suspect many users assume you can only plug your cord in 1 way and call it a day. Both ports output 18w (9v/2a). Fit was a little snug in my 2019 Corolla LE and required a little extra pressure to fit into my empty socket. Installation was simple with a few YouTube videos on how to remove the trim. Green LED is not bright enough to be annoying but it really doesn't light up anything but the inside on the port. If I don't update this, it means the port is still working.

Works, but cheaply built
Functionally, it's fine. It puts out a very stable and steady 5 volts, so it should have no risk of damaging your devices. I question the claim that it supports QC 3.0 as I have plugged devices which should support that standard and saw no difference compared to the other port which purports to be standard 5v 2.4a. I suspect both ports are identical as I have disassembled this (more on that later) an the two ports are each separate board which appear 100% identical. It has two very annoying blue LEDs that are on not only when it's in use but any time it's receiving power from the car.. Make sure to wire this up in a way that will not receive power when the car is off as those blue LEDs will slowly but surely drain your battery. One of the two ports is upside down, so keep that in mind as it could affect device compatibility if you want to plug in something with a very bulky cable or a device with controls you'd like to use (something like a first-gen iPod shuffle would be tricky to operate via one of the two ports). I am on my second one of these. The first didn't quit working electrically but it wasn't held into its housing very well and an attempt to plug in a plug upside down just pushed it right out the back. So I had to replace it. This time I opened it up to remove the annoying blue LEDs and to reinforce the device structurally with some hot glue. While I was in there, I looked at the construction. The wires were thin, the solder jobs were shoddy at best, and the controller IC is under an epoxy blob so you can't see what it actually is. It's built cheaply but it does work and seems to be correctly regulating the voltage which is all you really need. If you have the skills to do so, I highly recommend opening it up before installation and reinforcing with hot glue, both to protect the shoddy solder joints and to keep it from falling apart. I can't exactly say that I recommend it, but there aren't many equivalent products out there that are any better, so if USB ports that fit in this specific slot size are what you need, well, this is what you're stuck with.

Junk - intermittent connectivity
Do not buy this unless you have easy access to replace it. Installed it in my 2007 Toyota Tundra. Had to wiggle the wires behind the dash to get it to intermittently connect. Product feels cheap and flimsy. Would not stay powered without holding the wires in a certain position on the back of the USB. The barbed tabs are large and don’t have room depress/release when installed into the standard size Toyota Dash knockout. Would have rated it zero stars if possible.
