Great collar for my tiny dog
This is the perfect collar for my tiny dog. Much more comfortable than the hard plastic cone with the loud scary Velcro closure that the vet used. And it's pretty too. I worked great & better than the cone. Well made product. Very glad I purchased it.

Works just as well as a cone and is a lot more comfortable.
Our cat needed to wear a cone of shame and hated it so much! She would complain and hide and look really sad when it's on. This product however she had no problem with and I think she even likes it. It looks a lot more comfortable and it still restricts her from licking her back leg. Very glad I bought it.

It worked really well for my petite girl
My little one is, at most, 8 lbs. Finding a good e-collar for her was a hunt! This fit the bill, though. She could drink water, lay comfortably, and still not get to the incision. Her surgery was removal of spleen with a mass (in case that helps per location of incision). I tried another one that was inflatable and supposedly for her neck size, but it was too big and cumbersome and kept moving around. I like that this doesn't have a clasp where her front leg could slip through and get stuck (like the first one I tried - which that happened, but thankfully I was here). The one thing I don't like is the strap to tighten is the pull string with a clip to tighten. I was always very cautious to leave it a little more than 2 fingers loose and to tuck the string sort of up between the back of her neck and the collar as I worried about her somehow getting it caught on something... though that is probably me being the overly cautious mama. :) All in all, this was a great buy. I like that it's not inflatable and it did wash quite easily on gentle cycle in a garment bag (left it to air dry).

Did not work for my cat
My cat loved this for comfort, but it did not stop her from scratching her sores, she could still get to them with her claws. Plus her claws dug into the fabric, so no good had to go back to using the cone

Perfect! Small cat with obstruction surgery
My cat is just under 8 pounds and has a large incision down the middle of his belly. The smallest size fits him perfectly. I didn't even need to tighten the pull and I can still get two fingers between the edge and his neck. He tried a little to get it off but really didn't even try to hard. I am so glad to put that horrible plastic thing in the bin. I ordered another one of these to swap out when washing. He has 13 more days he has to wear it.

Not for a small kitten
I ordered this because of the measurements. My kitten is 5 months old and small. It was one of the smallest neck circumferences that I found. It would be good for a bigger pet but for my kitten it was too big. It did fit over her head well. It looks like a huge life preserver around the neck. He did manage to get out of it. It has a draw string to tighten which I liked. I didn't see him get out of it. I didn't use it anymore after that. I don't see how he could have drank without getting it wet. It is a very good idea but if you have a very small kitten like mine I don't think it would work. I did not inflate this product, it was cloth and already round in shape out of the package. It is much better than the cone he came home from the vet in and I'm sure it would have been more comfortable it he could keep it on.
