Very comfy sandals if they fit; love the color and style
This is my second pair of Teva sandals, bought because I like the Teva Hurricane XLT2 sandals so much. Both are very comfortable and have good support for sandals. Both can get wet with no harm and are good for walking or light hiking. One difference which might matter in fit for some is that the strap around the back of the heel is not adjustable on the Tirra sandal, but it is adjustable on the Hurricane XLT2. Some reviews mention a problem with this. All the other straps are adjustable on both. I do have to make sure I'm not fastening the ankle strap too tightly on the Tirra. My Tirra sandals are in the color Bering Sea, which is becoming hard to find, so this review is for those. (I don't know if the Tirras in the newer colors might be a little different or not.) Bering Sea in lower light is a deep blue with some gray tone, not as dark as navy, with perhaps just a tiny tiny touch of teal or ocean but not much. The color name seems appropriate and I love the color. In bright sunlight it looks more like a medium-to-deep grayish-blue. The trim appears to be black. The product photos for Bering Sea on Amazon don't show the deep blue tones enough on my screen. Also, the fit is a little different, as some other reviews have mentioned. The Tirra seems to run slightly smaller and maybe slightly less true to size than the Hurricane XLT2. I usually wear women's size 8 medium, occasionally 7.5, and I bought both Tevas in size 8. Both fit well enough, but the Tirra's foodbed is not as generous in size as the Hurricane. (See photos of how both fit on me, for comparison. The Hurricane is the color Sunset Simply Taupe. The photo of the soles shows the Hurricane footbed on the left and the Tirra on the right.) I like the width of the Tirra footbed better (for my bony feet) but not the length, which fits a little shorter, more like a 7.5 than an 8 on my feet, maybe because of my long big toes. If in doubt, I'd suggest maybe (??) ordering up a half-size in the Tirra if you have wider feet or extra long toes. Both work for me in my usual size, although the Tirra is shorter on my right foot than I'd prefer. My toe is almost at the top edge which I don't like, but it doesn't overhang. I bought the ones both sold by and shipped by Amazon, not sold by a third party, because a return would be a little easier if needed. I'm also a little wary of knock-offs and receiving a previously returned product. These arrived in a Teva box, but didn't have cardboard inserts in the sandals as my Hurricanes did nor any tags on them. But they didn't appear to have been worn so maybe Teva doesn't put inserts into all of them. ?? Both are 5 stars but there are a couple of differences (back heel strap, footbed shape and size) from some other Teva sandals which may or may not matter for you.

great fit
we look for comfort, stability and reliability in our shoes. check all. I own a pair of Teva Hurricane Xlt2, and they're great, wider than these in toe box, so I wanted a smaller look. Those are in an off-white color, and I'll share, I stay away from black sandals in summer because they are hotter absorbing sun. I got the taupe multi color in Tirra because reviews were similar to Hurricane. One thing about these more expensive Teva's...They are much more comfortable than the lower end/cost ones. The footbed is very nice feeling and feels like good protection throughout the summer heat. they also walk nice! With Teva's, I also find the first time you wear them, you might feel uncomfortable, so stop right there, and start readjusting the straps. If rubbing, loosen them and gradually with some wear, your feet with adjust. may have to repeat tight-loose and light walking for a couple of days. but soon, you will find the comfort of the straps and never have to adjust again. I leave my straps on the loose side, but not loose enough to slide around in the sandal. my feet stay put and the sandals provided great stability. if I hit a hiking mode, I may have to tighten them down a bit, but not probable I'd even have to do that. I typically wear 8.5-9M in most shoes, sneakers, but during winter my feet need more room in toes. these sandals have a more narrow toe box, but are perfect for an open toed shoe. I'm older, but whether running errands or picnic, these sandals will be preferred, because they are rugged enough but don't quite resemble the work horse that they really are. they're cool in temperature and style. expensive but once you are fitted, you're hooked.

Support and Comfort
Heard about these shoes from a friend. I was optimistic, but my feet do not hurt. They are supportive, comfortable, easy to wash. I have not taken them off all week. Looking for another pair!

Great Sandal with 3 adjustable straps!
I have walked on Teva Terra for the past decade, if not longer. I love them, they have good arch support and I can go in the water with them if needed. However, as I am graciously aging and my feet are widening in the front part (arthritis, I guess), I have been noticing that the front strap on the sandal is getting too short for safety. It can barely grip the velcro on the other side. The next strap in is fine, plenty of length there. I wish Teva would accommodate the older population with widening front feet and give 1/2 inch more on this strap. I don't think it would break the bank! I would give it 5 stars if they would have a longer front strap. I also am going to test-drive other sandals like Teva, as I plan to be around at least another 10 years!

High quality comfortable sandals
I love Teva sandals and have been wearing them for years. They are comfortable walking/hiking sandals. The Tirra style has three different adjustable straps. Easy to clean. Can dress them up or down. High quality and very durable.

Favorite walking sandals
My favorite sandals for long walks - excellent support & stability. Super comfortable in hot weather as well. Breathable with great fit. I have 3 pairs and love them all - style and colors. Very durable. I hope Teva keeps this model forever.

Overall good, but requires socks for comfort
This wasn't an awful purchase. I like the color, the fit. They are comfortable on my feet and provide good support for my arch while fitting my wide feet well. My size is normally 8.5 wide so I selected 8.5 and the sizing seems appropriate. It is perhaps a tiny bit too long and I may have sized down if I had the opportunity to try on multiple sizes at once, but for shoes bought over the internet, sight unseen, I can't really complain about the size. The straps enable a nice, snug fit around my wide feet though I can see how it may be a bit too loose for people with narrow feet. I have one problem: the ankle strap causes blisters on the back of my ankle when worn without socks. I got these specifically for a supportive shoe that I could wear in summer without the need for socks, but I can't really use them beyond short trips (around 30 minutes of walking). I was hoping that they would break in over time, but so far they have not. This was not a problem with my last pair of similar sandals from another brand, which were comfortable for sockless wear right from the get-go. While there are a few differences at play that might explain why my older shoes were more comfortable (including a softer, more fabric-like material and a lower ankle strap which wraps around the heel more then the ankle) I think this issue is more to do with the construction of the shoe. My old ones actually had an ankle strap that was separate from the rest and attached with a piece of elastic. I think this construction enables the strap to move *with* my foot instead of against it as I walk. In contrast, this shoe is made all in one piece which results in an inflexible back strap which wears against the ankle. Some may feel that this provides more support, but I personally don't notice any difference and the blisters are enough to outweigh any potential benefit in that area. It is now past my return window, so I guess I'm just going to deal. I'll wear them for short trips out of my apartment, but for anything longer then that I'm going to need to figure out something to protect my ankle, either socks, bandaids or something else. In any case, I think I will steer clear of this brand (or at least, this model) in the future unless there is a design change. At least I think I've learned something to bare in mind when buying sandals again.

LOVE!!!
This is my second pair. I accidentally ruined the first ones by using carpeting tape to put organic cotton foot sole inserts in. They end up holding dirt Etc and then I couldn't get them off without ripping everything or leaving all the sticky on the the place where my foot goes. So I decided to get another pair and not screw these up! But I love them. Very natural and versatile and comfortable! I do wish that they had a little upward curves so that it kept your feet cleaner. But other than that these are great sandals and I love the adjustments so my toes can wiggle and I can change things if my feet swell.

Great price, excellent sandals
Excellent sandals at an excellent price - they were about 40% cheaper than any bricks and mortar store that stocks them near me. I was a bit worried about sizing based on other reviews so found a store that stocked the whole sizes. I am usually a 7-7.5 and I found the 7 slightly small so ordered a 7.5. They fit perfectly. I love the fact you can adjust all of the straps to fit as I have a high arch and sometimes that causes issues with fit. I also read some people had issues with rubbing and blisters so tested them out using my treadmill. They are as comfy as my trainers and I had no issues at all doing a half hour walk at 5.5km/hr. I did this daily, for a week before my holidays, to be on the safe side and continued to have no issues. These will be my go-to for any long walks.

Comfortable, great for water adventures like canoeing and kayaking.
I love Teva sandals. My first pair lasted a decade. Bought two pair so I can keep one pair for city use and the other for adventure.

Muy buenas pero tallan justo
Están genial. Es una marca muy buena se ven súper resistentes y cómodas. Suelo llevar en éste estilo de sandalias un 39, pero las tuve que cambiar por un 40, tallan un poquito justas. Pero me encantan.
