2021 Genuine Military MRE Meals Ready to Eat with Inspection Date 2021 or Newer (Beef Shredded in Barbecue Sauce)

I've tried a few MREs and this one had some good flavor. Outer packaging was sealed, but the inner package had been opened. I mixed the shredded beef /w BBQ Sauce and the packet of Black Beans in Seasoned Sauce (Tasted like Taco flavoring). I then put that on the tortillas and topped it off with additional BBQ sauce from the packet in the accessories packet and added the cheese from the Jalapeno Cheese packet. Savory BBQ flavor and the taco flavor mixed together really hit my taste buds. My only complaint is that you get only two flour tortillas. If you like BBQ Pulled Pork/Beef sandwiches and like the flavor of tacos, you'll probably like this one.

Its exactly as advertised. I got 2, ate one and it was great, one of the best menus in my opinion. Hanging onto the other one since they quit making the beef in bbq sauce.

Tasted 5 stars, but 3 stars because it was missing some things. MRE was great, really brought me back. I was missing the black beans, though, and the heating pad was broken.I’m sure Seller has no control over it, but if I had this in the field and missed my beans w/ a broken heating pad, I’m sure I’d lose my mind.

A bit tricky if you got this for camping as the heating was broken (even with the right amount of water).But you can just use the bag it came in and hot water. Taste great.

I tried this out wondering how it is for soldiers and to experience how bad the food was as some described it but I was pleasantly surprised. The beef was soft and the bbq sauce was sweet. I can see how it could be overwhelming but with the tortillas it was delicious. Although I will say 2 plain tortillas is not enough. Had to cook an extra one to even out the beef to tortilla ratio. Everything else including the beans was good. The powder orange drink was an experience. Don’t recommend and wonder why they don’t use a better powder drink but hey that’s their choice for soldiers. Overall 4/5.

great flavors. fresh food, deffinitely my favorite out of what ive tried so far, will be getting this again because on a trip or camping this is a must have.

Superb from now on I really start to admire the dedication the US Armed Forces put each day for the security of USA and the world security.
