not bad as a fun little conversation piece and possibly even as a threat deterent...
i bought this knife mostly for fun as a conversation piece and also as a pontential threat deterrent. for those purposes and for what i paid for it, it should fare nicely. its sharp enough as is, however i'm not sure how long the edge will actually last. if you own a sharpener then nothing to worry about. the handle was made for gorrilla hands so if you've got a pair the handle will grip nicely. if not just use two fingers per finger groove and choke up on it. its not super high quality and mine came with a few nicks here and there. also the fastening arms on the sheath were a little frayed and the blade is not fixed securely within the handle which allows for it to move slightly from side to side. its pretty stiff though. it doesn't clang around or anything but it has room for play when enough pressure is applied. it did arrive promptly and ultimately i'm satisfied but just barely. hope this helps.Update March 31, 2013: i initially gave it a 3-star rating and even contemplated returning it however, the longer its been in my possesion the more i'm loving it. its not something anybody is gonna want to mess with at nearly 15 inches long (9.5 in. blade length) its adds a significant amount of reach to whomever wields it. i still don't like how the blade moves side to side within the handle but i'm sure there's an easy fix out there and to be honest it really won't be a factor should you ever need to actually defend yourself with it. the sheath is barely functional considering that every time you try to pull the knife out the sawback gets stuck on either the fastening arms or the rim of the sheath itself. this won't affect my rating however because i paid for a kick ass knife and got one. i won't be carrying this around where a sheath will be needed anyway. its strictly for home defense purposes if any. hope this helps;^)

Good knife!
Arrived really soon, Cool design, the blade is a little thin for a jungle knife, but its ok for the price. I think this knife is good for its price, sharp enough, nice design. The reason I don't give it 5 stars is because of the cheap sheath, it always get stuck when I take the knife out, I'll replace it!

Wow, what a POS knife. Flimsy and cheaply built. Not even worth the really ridiculously low price I paid for it. One of my boys wanted it for Christmas. I had to find something else. Not even worth giving as a gift.

Light weight, good for defence, good handle
You just can't get this thing sharp, no matter how long i try it will not get razor sharp. It is fairly hard to cut with the saw edge but it does do the job, i'm happy with the light weight and well built grip. you definitely get what you pay for. I would use this knife as more of a defense or deterrent rather then a tool. sheath isn't the best i recommend getting a new one.
