Outstanding for a $100 Desk. Requires 2 People to Assemble.
This desk is a great value. It looks nice, it's sturdy. Don't hesitate to purchase this because of the low price, it's not a piece of junk.I did read some reviews saying it was hard to assemble, so I paid extra to have Amazon assemble it. The assemble person wasn't able to make it today, so I canceled it and assembled it myself. It wasn't really hard at all. It only took about 30 minutes. The instructions were clear enough. I don't see how one person can assemble this by themselves. As long as you have another person to help you should be just fine. The only down side was 3 of the 12 screws that secure the desk to the base didn't fit. They were in the middle of the desk and didn't seem that crucial to holding things together. I guess we'll see.

Sturdy, long and strong.
Once I saw the video I was able to get past step one which was simply to put the shelf plugs in for the boards. Then I laid out all the packages, first by numbers and then the packets by letter in order. I watched the video and figured out the first steps even though I was alone. My husband and grandson came and then it went together quickly. We DID use a power tool instead of the little slow turner (they called it something weird). But my husband put it on a very low speed so as not to strip it. Worked great. Didn't strip a one. The extra packet of screws made life less worrisome. Didn't need them. Only one board was out of place (backward) but quickly replaced (they forgot to look at directions!). It is heavy when together. We slipped it in the hole and I love it! It is like a long, side table and has my computer, power supply, heavy printer, phone, open space yet, and clean looking. I like the steel legs. Wish the top were made of something more long lasting, but for the price, this is a great deal. AND - the legs are very sturdy and non obtrusive. It's hard to find a long desk like this. I am NOT a gamer but it's in my sewing room and looks terrific with all my black, white and gray. It arrived early and in good condition. No parts were missing.

Nice Desk, but HORRIBLE to Assemble!
I love this desk, but if I could give "assembly" less than 1 star, I would. This is the worst piece of furniture we've ever had to put together, (even items from Ikea!), and it took 3 hours for my husband and I to assemble it. The Allen wrench included in the hardware kept stripping the bolt heads to the point that the wrench end became rounded. We ended up having to use a vice grip to get the screws in. The pre-drilled screw holes were not drilled to match up, and the "instruction" sheet consisted of drawings only, and it was difficult to determine which end was which. It was frustrating and exhausting. But, the desk looks good, is sturdy, big, modern and visually appealing. I like the built in shelf area, and I just enjoy the size of the work space, and we feel it's priced well-- a great value.I appreciate that we didn't have to use glue like you do with cheaper furniture, and if it were just somehow easier to put together, I'd give it ☆☆☆☆☆.

Amazng desks, fit my purpose
I wanted a corner desk but a very big one. Then i had the eureka idea of buying 2 desks and making a corner desk to fit what i envisioned. This was it. Less than 100 dollars for both desks, and i transformed my office/craft space. The desk is simple to put together, i did it solo in about 2 hrs while watching netflix. They may seem flimsy, but once set up they are sturdy enough. The finish is solid and i am super pleased with the quality. If i had space for a 3rd or 4th, i would definitely buy them. They were packaged well, no damage, and arrived quickly. I am currently using them as a workspace for myself and homeschooling spaces for my twins and have enough space for crafting. The price of 2 of these beat the cost of 1 corner desk and gave me more overall workable space. Get 'em if you can, worth it.

Works great for my needs
I wanted a desk big enough to have a work side and a gaming side. It has worked perfect for my set up. Both sides feel roomy for my needs.I (young female engineer) was able to assemble this desk by myself. However, there were many issues. One of the screws did not have a head. 2 of the screws were impossible to get lined up right so I was unable to get them in. The instructions were not clear, so I ended up assembling the side posts backwards and had to redo them and then I had screwed the wood back on upside down because the photos did not make clear where the hole should go, so I ended up have to take that out and turn it around in order to get the back X wires to work. Overall the desk feels sturdy, but I doubt it would hold up if it was moved around. The top is already chipping along the edge and I have had the desk a month. Also, the black still has the wood grain look.
