Pixel 3a XL Case, Fog (GA00788)

It's a Google product made for the Google Pixel so it's naturally going to fit. No complaints. Not sure how well it will protect in the event the phone is dropped but it looks nice, feels premium, and protects the back from scratches. Great value for an older phone.

I needed a new case to replace my clear Ringke for my Pixel. I saw this official Google case for a great price. I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. It clipped onto the phone nice and tightly. The edges are way stiffer than typical TPU cases. The colored power button is a nice elegant touch. The material also feels great in my hand. I wish they had a white one to match my phone, but that would be impractical for a case :) it would probably get way too dirty. For the price I paid for it around $12, I think it is a WONDERFUL case, designed to fit perfectly by Google for their phone. That being said, I would NOT get this case for the MSRP of $40 :) even thought it is quite premium, I'm just cheap.

This is a case designed by Google, so it is superbly fitted to the phone. I really like the material. Feels relatively durable doing well against most of the day to day activites of placing into pockets, on tables and other regular handling activites. I like that the fabric wraps around the cutout for the finger print sensor and isn’t edged with plastic trim. Very premium look. The one I got for 3aXL has a bit of a lip around the front screen so if you place screen side down it helps protects from scratches that might be on the surface you’re setting it down on. I noticed some people with the 3a (not XL) phone with this same google case and it doesn’t have that feature. Overall happy with the short time I’ve had it, 2 months.

Update after using the case for a couple months. I reduced the rating to 4 stars. All points I made in my original review are still valid. I do have one issue now that I have some experience using it. The cloth texture, that is added to the case, pics up a ton of dirt. The fibers in the cloth trap dirt and debris and are difficult to remove. I could probably find a nylon brush to scrub out the dirt from the cloth. Is it a deal breaker, no. I generally like to keep my phone clean, so the dirt all over my case is somewhat irritating. If you don't care about a dirty looking phone case, then I would recommend this case. ------------------------------------ Very nice case, fits well. I like the surface, its a cloth material very tightly bonded to the plastic case. Adds good texture for holding phone. Also, the texture does not interfere with putting it your pocket as a rough surface may. The power and volume controls are different on the case. The volume buttons are covered in cloth and the power button is not. This allows you to operate any of the buttons without looking. Previous cases on other phones I have used did not have different textures and I always pressed the wrong buttons.

This Google Pixel 3A case is perfect; looks good, fits good, seems very study and well made. Price is right too!

Not bulky at all. Fabric-like texture feels nice in hand. Fits perfectly and has attractive color accents on the buttons.

EDIT: It's going on a year now since I first got this case and wrote a review. Just wanted to drop it by one star due to the fact that the case is now ravelling/wearing out at the edgest. My phone has also popped out of the case a few times which defeats the purpose of having one. Definitely expected more after paying so much, but the style is unbeatable. This is a custom case by Google for their own product (Pixel 3a), so of course it's going to fit nicely and take into account the positions of the phones specialty features such as the fingerprint scanner and charging port. I didn't realize it at the time of purchase, but the case actually has its own buttons that go over the phone's buttons (unlike other cases that just have an opening there). The materials used to create this case are awesome. I love the feel of the custom knit and was pleasantly surprised by the thin faux leather interior. There are no abrupt seams anywhere on the case and the logo is well secured to the back. I removed one star due to the hefty price for this item since you can get an equally sturdy and useful case for $5. I will say that for the materials this case offers, you are definitely paying for quality. If you're looking for something stylish and unique, this is the case for you.

He probado varias fundas para el pixel 3a XL y al final me decidí a comprar la original, y la verdad, aunque es más cara merece la pena.

Funda original de gran calidad, oficial de Google por tanto ajuste perfecto como era de esperarme protege perfectamente el dispositivo.
