Installed as replacement for original PS that died. So far so good, computer powered up normally. FYI replacing the PS on a 660S is a major project. You must take off the front panel, remove the DVD/HDD unit, remove the plastic CPU covering, then remove all the screws that hold the motherboard in place and slide it back far enough to remove the power supply, can't get it out with the MB in place. The Dell owner's manual, which you can find and download online, gives you a description of how to do everything. It sort of implies you have to remove the memory and CPU from the MB, but that's not necessary, just slide the MB back far enough to get the PS out then put everything back the way you found it.

Replaced a defective power supply in my computer. Arrived very fast, fit perfectly and computer was up and running in a day.

Not sure why others have given it low ratings. Installed just fine and works as expected.
