Creates amazing background lit colors for aquarium. Fairly easy to install and operate. My tank is a bit tall (38 gal bow)so color doesn’t quite go all the way to top but I like it just the same. I might just add an led light bar to the top of my aquarium for more effect. I didn’t end up using the suction cups to place led light because they wouldn’t stick so I used the brackets included in kit; they are just sitting on the back ledge of my stand which allows me to place light a little higher than it would be if I had attached light bar to aquarium frame. Since this tank is taller than the background film included in this kit, I messaged the seller and they immediately without hesitation sent me out a taller film. Super customer service! Looking forward to getting a 75 gal aquarium in the future and will definitely get this kit for that.Update 08/2020So, I ended up buying a 75 gal aquarium. I decided to buy another led background kit for this new tank. I didn’t buy the one recommended for a 75 because the actual length of that one would end up being 4 inches short on both sides. I bought the 24-36” kit with the actual length of the light strip being 23”. I added the one I bought previously so that now pretty much the entire length of the tank is covered. I can customize so many colors and the colors you do get on this particular strip are way better than any other led strip I’ve bought before. I just love these lights!P.s. I did have a small issue with one strip having slightly different tones than the other. I contacted seller and they sent me a new strip to match with the other. Their customer service is beyond reproach and they firmly stand behind their products.Their products are highly recommended!

I’ll never paint the back of my aquariums black again. This light is amazing! The colors flow really nicely on the gradient cycle setting. Completely customizable. Installation was breeze. The film wrap application couldn’t have been easier. I installed this on my 125g alone. Absolutely love it!

This kit works as described, but there are a couple things to know.1) The background installs easily, but it is easily damaged. The damage doesn't show up until you fill the aquarium with water and turn the light on. I would have replaced it, but it would mean tearing down my tank, so I will have to live with it. Very disappointed.2) This point is mentioned in the instructions, but I didn't read the instructions until I bought it. To properly use it you need at least 6" of space behind the aquarium. That won't work for me so I went to plan B which is to use suction cups to attach it to the tank trim. If you put it on the bottom trim, the light needs to point upwards, which lights everything above it including the wall and ceiling. If you put it on the top trim pointing down, it looks good but you can't attach or hang anything on the back of the tank.EDIT: Suction cups have been failing every few days requiring me to continually reinstall light. I will be returning it unless I can find a work-around. Maybe I can use adhesive velcro strips. Also, the customer service link provided does not work, so I can't even ask for help from the seller.

I really LOVE this background lighting kit...when it works. Installation was very easy and the lighting effects add a level of WOW to my aquarium no background or décor can match. HOWEVER, the light plug into will not stay tightly inserted into the IR sensor and the light just turns off for no reason. I jiggle the connection and it comes back on. Very loose connection, and because I have already cut and installed the background, I cannot return it.Also, the power button on my remote does not work. All other buttons seem to but not the power.Have been trying for a week to contact Current USA by phone and email and cannot get a response at all. I really wanted another one for my other tank but based on my experience so far, will have to find something else.Amazon did a great job of packing and quick shipping...this is all on Current USAEDIT: The problem was the IR sensor. Current sent me an entire replacement kit, with prepaid label to send defective one back.EDIT2: 3 Weeks after getting the replacement, now the light bar is defective, just stopped all green LED lights during cycles or if green is chosen. Contacted Current again, they sent another and also sent the controller (that goes with the full kit). I installed that, only to discover I now only have half the background light button options that I did before, as the new remote is also meant to control their light bar for the combined effect. So their suggested fix ended up making the experience worse. Contacted them to see if I can purchase the top bar for the kit, but it is not sold separately. So in order to make this work, I either have to fork out another $300 or find another product. Sigh. I give up.

Beautiful backlighting as it’s ALL about aquarium theatrics. Frosted film background easy to install.Having purchased through Amazon multiple Current USA merchandise items (while it’s still available), I was happy to hear that Saltwater Aquarium has acquired through the acquisition of the Current USA brand for it’s future development, marketing, and distribution.Moreover, while experiencing some minor complications due to the current USA acquisition process no doubt by receiving the wrong merchandise that was different then what was posted on their website, they issued a quick return label, and within two weeks, I was promptly recredit over for those particular items.Based on my personal experience with their prompt service I would not hesitate to recommend Saltwater Aquarium for your one stop shop for your aquarium hobby supplies.Cheers and bubble-up!
