My husband loves to walk the dogs deep in the woods in the later part of evening and always complained about mosquitos. He needed it to protect his neck and face from mosquito bites. I looked at a lot of hats of the same kind and found this to be reasonably priced. The hat is made of nice cotton fabric and the net is really fine to keep the mosquitos out. The net is also big enough to cover the neck and shoulders.

I got this for my 10 year old son so that he would stop worrying about the bugs “attacking him” while on our hikes. It certainly did! It was lightweight and came down past his shoulders. The only drawback was that it would have been great if it could have covered his shoulders too. Otherwise, fit him well and the adjustability helped keep it on securely while we climbed and jogged.

Nice hat, good quality! I needed it to wear while working outdoors in mosquito infested damp area! Gave me extra layer of protection and allowed me to focus more on my work. Only thing is that the netting is very dense for obvious reasons to protect you but that makes it kinda hard to see through.

Well made, design is very good, worked great. The netting is very soft, and the hat is comfortable. The only downside was my visibility was decreased quite a bit more than I expected. I got one for myself and one for husband.

Black fly season was in full effect this spring and I was without this hat. I got bit on the right eyelid and swollen for a week!! Not any more!!!! This hat is a life saver. It keeps the black flies and mosquitoes off your face & neck. I have short hair so this helped tremendously. My husband wears this hat and he really appreciates the protection!

I liked the hat and the net is a good length. I only gave it 4 stars because the light gray color I ordered arrived not at all like pictured. The hat I received was a much darker tannish gray color.

Great buy. My hubby coaches basketball outdoors and the hat is a lifesaver. No bugs and no sun- win win!
