I needed something that I can carry around the house and time my work schedules mainly for project management. This timer be it for a Kitchen usage is a great device, you set your timer and forget about it until it pleasantly reminds you your time is up. The alarm is pleasing unlike my Iphone which sounds like a bombs gone off when it alarms, therefore I don't use my phone for timing and use this great device. The display is simple LCD, simple is better and has no-frills, it just does the job and the battery life is exceptional. I use it everyday and it remains on permanently and has lasted 6 months, I would strongly recommend this not just for the Kitchen where you set timer for say a roast but for any other uses such as timing the kids homework and also how much break time you have for yourself until reality kicks back in. Great device and recommended.

Absolute rubbish! Can hardly hear the timer go off. Battery button seal doesn't stay either. Not fit for purpose. Should be removed from Amazon.

I am sure It would be OK as a timer but I did not bother to use it because the volume of the alarm was ridiculously low!!Even with The timer right next to me I could scarcely hear it when I tried it out on receipt, so it went straight back and I bought a different brand which works very well! Probably good for anyone with very sensitive hearing...??

You should know that if you miss your time and go over the time you wanted, you have to reset by pressing both buttons together. The magnet works, the timer works and it goes to 99 minutes. It's a very simple item and just works, with an electronic beep beep alarm when it has finished. I've found it entirely reliable for everyday use - literally every day, and in a damp steamy kitchen.

What a total waste of money!!! VERY basic. Other than removing the battery, you cannot turn it off OR get it back to zero 0000. Don't buy this!!

Display is easy to read, buttons are a good size and easy to use, magnet is handy for attaching to cooker / extractor hood, no stand though but not much of a problem. Beeper could do with being be louder.

I made the mistake of buying two of these because they’re cheap. They turned out to be crap. You can’t hear them when the alarm goes off. They’re also really flimsy and poorly made.

Perfectly good timer but two things that might put you off.- It's not very loud so its easy to miss the alarm.- The magnet is not the strongest so it's easy to knock it off the fridge door.Good value for the price.
