As others have mentioned, due to the laws of gravity, this "chest" bag is going to slide down and become a hip bag or messenger bag. To prevent that from happening, you'll have to clip it to your backpack shoulder straps. If you're not wearing a backpack, you can clip it to a belt loop. There are two rings at the bottom of the bag for the shoulder strap: one for the left and one for the right. Whichever one you're not using, clip a bungee cord or something there and hook it to your belt.The other negative is the water bottle pocket. No water bottle will fit in there. I put a C cell led flashlight in there. That's the most it will hold.Besides those two things, it's okay.

I am so happy I bought this. I use it as my purse. I had backpacks that were either too small or too big, and finally I have found the right size. It is very good looking and well made. Very quality. The materials used are gorgeous. The sling can be switched easily to either side. I have a laptop that is 11 inches by 9 inches that fits easily in it. If not using the mesh bottle holder, there is a zipper closure to conceal it with the material the bag is made out of. There are many zipper pockets with zipper pockets within. A pocket for everything I am carrying and more. All the zippers are quality. There is a hidden safety zipper pocket on the back. Everything has been thought of. If using as a backpack, it would be a day pack that can hold some sandwiches, maybe a light rain jacket, but not much more. As a gym bag it could hold yoga pants and top. Maybe you can pack better than I do, though. There are outside loops to attach thing. I have received many compliments, especially about the texture of the fabric it is made out of, and recommend it to everyone.

I ordered this sling backpack to be able to carry around my 2018 MacBook Pro 13 and all the accessories to include charger, USB-C dongles, Magic Mouse, ear phones etc. This sling backpack I found is perfect for that task.I was a little hesitant to buy this backpack at first since I didn't know exactly how my MacBook Pro 13 would fit inside it. As you can see in the pics, I have as Thule bumper case on my MacBook, and fits perfectly inside this backpack with room to spare! The backpack does have some padding in front and in back, but the sides of this backpack don't seem to be as heavily padded. With a bumper case already on my MacBook, this won't be a concern for me.If you are looking at this for a MacBook Pro, or any other laptop in the 13" range, it will no doubt fit. As far as protection goes, understand that it will provide some protection, but not the best. Again, in my situation, the bumper case adds a lot of protection already and the backpack I what I use to carry around my MacBook in. It will fit a MacBook with a neoprene protective sleeve if you want to go that route as well.The reason why I did not give this backpack a 5-star rating is that the supposed mesh bottle holder is not large enough to hold a water bottle. Well, maybe if you forced the water bottle into it. It will hold a slim can of soda, or a flashlight, but not much else.I don't know about the durability of this backpack and time will tell. For now, I am happy with this sling backpack!

I have reached a point in my life where I find myself carrying enough stuff to need a small backpack. Tablet, notebook, phones, keys, AirPods, pens, checkbook, it goes on and on. This bag has an interior sleeve that fits my iPad perfectly including its clamshell keyboard. The pocket that the sleeve is in is generous enough to hold additional items easily. It was well designed and travels well. It’s far less obtrusive than the larger bag I used to carry. It’s small enough that I don’t get hassled by flight crews for having more than three items when I board a flight. It can be set up for righties and lefties. It has a phonetically odd name but works perfectly.

this is by far the best bag for my needs. I ride a motorcycle and this lets me carry everything. My pack includes 2018 iPad pro 12.9", kindle paperwhite, bluetooth keyboard and mouse, assorted chargers,cables, ssd drives, thumb drives, wireless router, pens, pencils, Pixel 3XL cellphone, extra reading glasses, alcohol sprayer (better than sanitizer goop), assorted adapters, business cards, etc. You get the idea. I can sling it over either shoulder or wear as a fanny pack with it around my waist and it resting on the seat.

Due to shoulder and neck injuries, I was having trouble with my usual over the shoulder/crossbody tote. My other sling bags were more like backpacks and just too big for daily use as a purse substitute. I normally wear gym clothes or casual t-shirts with jeans or shorts, so I was definitely shopping function over look. However, this fits in just fine with my day to day. Quality is awesome: well-sewn, strong/durable zippers & clips, lots of pockets for all the little things so they aren't just floating around getting lost in the bottom. As someone who needs everything in its place, I LOVED that about this. Even when it's packed full, it wasn't overly bulky or burdensome. I've used it for several weeks now and haven't had any neck, shoulder, or back pain. I get in and out of it several times a day and haven't noticed any concerning wear or deterioration. I had to get a little creative when putting my OC spray and knife in an easily accessible spot, but just ended up putting them in the side pouch with it fully zipped up so they couldn't be seen by others. All in all, this is exactly what I wanted and I'm super happy with it! I've already sent the link to several friends - guys and gals.

Smaller than I thought but nevertheless a good useful bag. It has lots of external zip pockets which can be confusing if you forget which one your purse is in!! I use it all the time, excellent. I may get another.

Took this on holiday with me, great little rucksack, plenty of pockets and secure. I fitted my phone, large iPad and kindle, plus all the other bits and pieces I needed for the flight. Would make a great bag for sightseeing 😎

Love this bag. Just the right size not too small like many others. Plenty of zipped compartments with plenty of room. Highly recommend.
