It appears to be sturdy and well made. I've only used it once so far and it performed really well, liquidising a large saucepanful of 1.5 kg cooked carrot and stock in less than the one minute recommended maximum run time. It was easy to clean. It has a variable speed control but I usually stick with one speed for most jobs (mostly making soup). If it lasts for the 10 years that its predecessor did I'll be well pleased. So far I'd say it's good value for money.

The blender is good but the bowl broke after 2 months! It got a crack so I decided not to use it anymore... its a bit disappointing but all the rest is good. The blender is easy to clean and assemble. Perfect for creamy soups or mashed potatoes.

Pefect hand blender great value for money

I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and it’s been really handy for quick cooking prep. It blends soups and smoothies smoothly. It is easy to handle without feeling too heavy and it’s simple to clean afterwards. It’s not the most powerful but for the price it does exactly what you need for everyday kitchen tasks.

Does the job, when you blend it hot soup it's starting to make noise

I'm very pleased with this Netta hand blender. I just wanted a straight forward stick blender. My only proviso was that it had a good amount of power. The blender comes in 2 parts, with the blade attaching with a quarter turn. It's very easy to remove for cleaning. The anti splash blade cover works very well. You can lower it into your mixture whilst on, without it coating you and your kitchen with edible paint. It's rated as 600w. I've no reason to doubt that. It has easily coped with a variety of mixes including a very stiff brownie mixture. It has a variable speed dial at the top of the blender and also a "turbo" button. I've had no need to use the turbo, but I can report that it does give you a speed faster than the top setting. It comes with a large 700ml Beaker, which also has a very useful snap fitting lid. Electrically all is as it should be. It comes with a moulded plug fitted with the correct 5amp fuse. Overall, I'm happy to give it 5 stars. It's good and powerful, easy to clean and for the money, represents a bit of a bargain. I hope you found this review helpful.

The blender is amazing and ive been using it for purees, mayonnaise and food blending without any problems so far. There are a few speed settings and its very easy to adjust the speed. The only downside is the blending cup that came with the hand blender.. it only lasted me a couple of weeks and then it cracked. Then the next time i used it, it just broke down and i had to throw it away with all the food it had inside as there were pieces of it blended in the puree. 5* if it came with a quality blending cup.
