Red Lion RL-SPRK200 230 Volt, 2 HP, 76 GPM Cast Iron Sprinkler/Irrigation Pump with Thermoplastic Impeller, Red, 97102001

I waited a few months to make sure performance was reliable and I can say it is. This pump replaced another sprinkler system pump that literally corroded to a pile of rust in under 5 years. So, time will tell.It’s working well and handles my sprinkler system on a small 1/4 acre residential lot.Pressure was better than prior and I made a number of adjustments on the sprinkler heads. I seem to have some better reach in the backyard which was truly needed along the fence line.I am very happy with the value and the performance this far and it seems to be a quality product.

I'm on year 2 with this pump, works excellent. Quiet, plenty of power to run 5 sprinkler heads at a time.

Installation requires providing your own pump housing drain petcocks in order to properly drain the pump for winterizing. Wired for 220v which is how my irrigation system likes it. This is a powerful pump so don't skimp on the intake pipe diameter (2"); I also combined irrigation zones to reduce back pressure and because the pump can handle it. This model has a better warranty than most other pumps in its class. The pump performance curves are worth looking at before you buy this pump.

Ordered a new product but received a used product that was cracked so water shot out of the pump everywhere. Very unhappy with purchase! Didn't hook it up to see that it was cracked and busted inside until right after return window passed. This product was a scam!

Pressure is good, extremely quiet in comparison to my previous pump that was triple the price. Installation was fairly easy but the wiring instructions suck and aren't very descriptive. It tells you to point the arrow at 230 or 115v to designate voltage but my control board didn't have anything labeled on it so I had to really pay attention to the instructions and watched a YouTube video from someone else to figure out what the 115 setting was to make sure I had it setup correctly.

I'm using it as an alternative to a diaphragm pump because those are just too loud. This is perfect for me. I just need my water tank to go up to 60 psi and this does it without a problem and quickly too!

Rocks my acreage irrigation system. No complaints

So far I’ve had no problems it a quiet pump and pushes 44 psi and does exactly what was advertised

Pumps a ton of water and is very quiet.

Barely used sprinkler pump making a high pitched sound just as the 2 year warranty has expired. My American made Red Lion pump lasted 10 years without a problem. My advice: Don't buy any pumps made in China, like this one was. If you must buy one then buy the extended warranty. I certainly wish I had. I will probably buy a different brand from now on because I think Red Lion knew these pumps were not built to last.
